Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Chavana Emalur wishes for you to complete a pilgrimage to Ald Khan. As the story goes, Vivec once wed Molag Bal. Ald Khan (in Tamriel Rebuilt lore) is the site of this event.

Ald Khan is marked on your map, and can be found by following the river which circles Narsis to its source. You need to go upriver, beyond the waterfalls. Once in the high river valley, you should be able to see Ald Khan on a mesa to your left.

Once inside, head into the Shrine area and speak with the priestess, Gadrisa Vabdas. She instructs you to memorize the poem once spoken by Vivec to Molag Bal as below (and as recorded in a copy of Sermon 12 that you can find in under the statue of Molag Bal).

I'm not sure just how much glass it took to make your hair
Twice as much, I am sure, as the oceans have to share
Hell, my sweet, is a fiction written by those who tell the truth
My mouth is skilled at lying and its alibi a tooth

When ready, talk to Suren Thelor in front of the statue, and tell him that you're ready. He'll summon a Daedroth, instructing you to feed it a Pomegranate if it gets cranky. You can buy these from Beldar Jerel in the Upper Halls and will need to do if you mess up your lines.

The Daedroth, Ku-Dakra, is summoned on ending your dialogue with Suren. Speak to it and recite the poem. Once done, the Daedroth will disappear, and you can activate the Shrine of the Banquet for a blessing titled Pomegrante Banquet (Fortify Personality 10 pts and Fortify Spear 15 pts for 48 minutes), and a message that reads as follows:

"It was here that Vivec wed the First Corner and learned from him the hidden syllable of royalty."

The quest is complete, and you gain +5 Temple reputation from activating the shrine.
