Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Arisa Llathril at the Number Rooms Temple about illicit cult worship.
2. Talk to Dreveli Urano in the temple Waistworks for the Number Rooms Waistworks Key.
3. Interrogate Caeva Jacronix in the temple's cells.
4. Return to Arisa and give your judgement.

Detailed Walkthrough

On your pilgrimage to Ald Khan during My Mouth is Skilled at Lying, you may be inclined to visit the Number Rooms Temple that sits in the river valley below Ald Khan itself. A Dark Elf named Arisa Llathril can be found in the temple's living quarters, and has a problem. She is concerned about how to handle an outlander arrested for illicit cult worship. While custom would normally dictate that the captive be drowned, Arisa finds the outlander's beliefs to be very atypical and is unsure what to do.

Agree to help, and you'll be told to pick up a key to the cells where the outlander is held from Dreveli Urano. She's in the waistworks part of the temple. Key in hand, head past Dreveli into the cells and speak with the prisoner, Caeva Jacronix. You can ask several questions in any order, and from those find that Caeva is a worshiper of Molag Bal in his aspect as the lord of the deep seas. She ritually sacrifices items and animals "and a few other things" to prevent shipwrecks, and was on a pilgrimage to Ald Khan when she was picked up by ordinators.

Once you have the answers you need, end the conversation. Caeva will make you an offer as you do - see to it that she is freed, and she will see to it that you are rewarded with something "worth more than coin".

Go back to Arisa to suggest a judgement. You can recommend execution, in which case you can later find Caeva dead beneath the waterfall in Narsis's Market Quarter, or propose a more lenient sentence - which sets Caeva to be confined within the Temple. You can also recommend that she be released, in which case she will be escorted to the border with Cyrodiil. There is no reward for leniency or execution - a reward only comes from getting Caeva released. If you do this, you can find her gift - the Amulet of the Drowned - on a Drowned Bull that lies opposite the northernmost dock of Narsis' Waterfront area. A Soaked Note thanking you can also be found on the corpse.

• Caeva may be a member of the Placid Drowner Cult that can be encountered in Project Cyrodiil's Abecean Shores release.
