deceased wood cutter ??[edit]

The wood cutter in question and his battleaxe would appear to be located SE of Ivarstead. I'm thinking this was either some sort of glitch or just a plain wrong edit from year ago? Relevant link: Wood Cutter

No, it's talking about the second one on that page. The one to the east of Shriekwind Bastion. --Morrolan (talk) 14:41, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Apiary not safe storage[edit]

Although all of my prior characters have been on the PC, I'm now doing a play through on the Xbox. (Argghhh ... slow.) In order to save loading time I stored 10 each of Amethysts, Diamonds, Emeralds, Garnets, Rubies and Sapphires to use as "change" for purchases, while depositing all of the loot collected or purchased into the outdoor chest by the anvil. Only later would this huge burden be distributed inside the house. On day 940 of the game guess what? The gems are gone and I have a lovely honey comb and five bees in their stead. The information here was incorrect. So I changed it to reflect the in-game experience, at least on the Xbox. Kalevala (talk) 17:29, 17 July 2018 (UTC)

Apiary confusion[edit]

So i have been reading different comments how the Apiary works and got confused, so i am asking directly: For the Apiary to produce bees and honeycombs, do i have to completly empty it or do bees need to be placed inside for it to work? 145.40.44.52 21:33, 14 March 2022 (UTC)

When you build an apiary, it contains 5 bees and a honeycomb. I had read that taking everything from a beehive can cause it to stop producing, so I decided to leave the bees in my apiary. After all, I can usually collect more than 20 bees from a bee spawn point and bees are even easier to get if you have a producing greenhouse. So I take the honeycomb from the apiary but leave the bees, and the apiary continues to produce honeycomb after I'm away long enough. Beehives are a different story. They quit producing whether I leave the bees or not. Valeria (talk) 16:09, 1 September 2024 (UTC)

Mounted antlers in kitchen fell down[edit]

The mounted antlers in the kitchen have fallen down. I’m playing an updated version of Special Edition on PS4. This is my first Elder Scrolls game not on PC so it’s very annoying to know if I had access to console commands I could just “disable” them. Also quite annoyed because IMO this is the most beautiful house in the game and I wanted to move the spouse and kids here, but not if they’ll be kicking around the antlers and knocking things off shelves. Interestingly, I went to Honeyside and slept for around 32 days, came back, and the antlers were “stuck” next to the main fireplace where I had tried to move them out of the way. After seeing that I thought the issue was resolved and they would just live on the floor but I came back after about a week and they’re not stuck anymore. If anyone has any idea how to help on console please let me know. I have a video of the antlers in their “mobile” state too. Thanks :) Skullandboner (talk) 18:34, 4 December 2022 (UTC) Skullandboner (talk) 18:34, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

New Spawn Point[edit]

Here's a new one. Whether the game created a brand new encounter spawn point or moved an existing one, I apparently now have an encounter spawn point right next to the fast travel spawn point for Lakeview Manor. I returned home in the evening to a couple of gargoyles, and I now have M'aiq a short distance from my door, between the stables and the spot where the carriage is placed. Any ideas how the heck that happened and what I can do about it? It's bad enough to invest so much in building a home away from the vampire spawns in the cities only to have wolves attacking my chickens, giants attacking my cow, bandits killing my horse, dragons killing everything, and then when I finally manage to haul my overloaded rear into the house, I get swarmed by diseased skeevers in the cellar. But that wasn't enough for Bethesda? I also have to have a regular encounter spawn point right on my doorstep? This is ridiculous! Valeria (talk) 15:43, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
