Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Belvin Uvalas in his St. Veloth Quarter store about Rothis Uvalas.
2. (Optional) Ask about Rothis' whereabouts at the Punudir Lookout.
3. Ask Rovone Gathram at Gathran Farmhouse about Belvin's whereabouts.
4. Enter Zernital.
5. Talk to Rothis Uvalas about an Almsivi Intervention Scroll, and give him one.
6. Speak to Rothis at his Brevur Heights apartment in the St. Veloth Quarter.
7. Return to Belvin Uvalas.

Detailed Walkthrough

Belvin Uvalas keeps a store in Narsis's St. Veloth Quarter, south of The Velothi Tower apartment complex. He's concerned about his missing son - an aspiring adventurer named Rothis Uvalas. You can offer to look for the son, in which case Belvin will suggest checking in at Punudir Lookout on the way to Sadrathim for information. He'll also note that Rothis has a friend named Rovone Gathram at a farm nearby.

Leave Narsis on the road leading northwest, across the river drawbridges. The Punudir Lookout is a short way along this road, overlooking it. The occupants will deny seeing anything. Then follow the path running northwest from the lookout to Gathran Farmhouse. Rovone within will tell you that Belvin planned to explore either Hlorandar to the west, or Zernital - a Velothi tower behind the farm.

Zernital is your target. Hlorandar's upper levels are largely abandoned, but if you happen into the dome, you'll be pointed to Zernital by Rakwa-Dar. It's a daedra-infested Velothi tower, with a couple of hostile NPCs. Hindonir carries the Zernital Dome Key that permits access to the dome. Sirdi the Subtle within the dome carries the Zernital Prison Key. Within the prison, you'll find Rothis Uvalas. He wants an Almsivi Intervention Scroll to escape with. You'll find a couple of these in Zernital - two in the dome, and one in one of the basement rooms. Give him the scroll, and he'll warp out - instructing you to meet him in his apartment.

Rothis' apartment is in the Top Apartments section of the Brevur Heights in the St. Veloth Quarter. It's a large tower just south of the river. Enter and speak to Rothis. He'll thank you and encourage you to speak to Belvin. Do so to complete the quest and receive his family amulet as a reward.

The son has struck out on an 'expedition' across the drawbridge leading north out of the city. Belvin suggested asking the guards at Punudir Lookout on the road to Sadrathim, or Rovone Gathram at his farmhouse northwest of the lookout.
20		The guards at Punudir Lookout denied having seen Rothis Uvalas.
30		Rothis Uvalas has met with Rovone Gathram at his farmhouse before continuing on his 'expedition'. He accounced his intention to either explore Hlorandar, a stronghold west of the Gathram Farmhouse, or Zernital, a Velothi tower south of it.
40		Rakwa-Dar at the dome of Hlorandar said he spoke to Rothis Uvalas. He dissuaded Rothis from exploring the stronghold. Rothis told Rakwa-Dar that he would head to Zernital, the Velothi tower on the hilltop southeast of Hlorandar instead.
50		I gave Rothis Uvalas an Almsivi Intervention scroll to escape his cell in Zernital and return to his home in Narsis. His apartment is in Brevur Heights in St. Veloth Quarter.
60		I met Rothis Uvalas in his apartment in Narsis. He encouraged me to talk to his father Belvin Uvalas in his shop on the south street of St. Veloth Quarter for a reward.
100	Finishes quest	Belvin Uvalas rewarded me with a family heirloom for saving his son.
200	Finishes quest	Rothis Uvalas is dead.
