Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Saldeni Andralor about greydust.
2. Go to the Sewers: Council Quarter Central area.
3. (Optional) Talk with Koldi the Pup and Cosimus Attero for advice.
4. Sell 4x Greydust to addicts in the area.
5. Bring 1,000 gold to Saldeni Andralor.

Detailed Walkthrough

Saldeni Andralor wishes you to make 1,000 gold from selling four units of Greydust, a potent drug manufactured by the syndicate. She specifies the Council Quarter sewers as the place to find existing addicts, and also suggests talking to syndicate members Koldi the Pup and Cosimus Attero to get their take on the task. These individuals are both in the Council Quarter sewers, so you'll likely encounter them while exploring. There are also four addicts in the area who you can sell to - Alven Arovyn, Breves Sadenthas, Malyn Rethrend and Sjer.

Alven is very drunk. He'll buy for 100 gold by default, for 200 gold with 40+ disposition, and 300 gold if he has 60+ disposition, and you pick the "It's only 100 gold plus another 200" option after his initial refusal.

Breves is in a poor condition. Not having money, he offers you his sword (the Sadenthas Sparkblade). Asking if he has anything else will see him reveal that he has an amulet (Amulet of Daydene's Panacea). You can then choose to take the sword, or both amulet and sword.

Malyn seems barely cognizant and will buy for whatever price you set of the 100/200/300 gold options, although you'll have to remind him to pay you.

Sjer is desperate for Greydust. He'll initially offer a "good thing" - a Sapphire. However, you can press him for something more valuable to receive a Ring of Creature Communion instead. Press him for anything more and he will attack.

Once you've sold all four samples, return to Saldeni and give her 1,000 gold to complete the quest.
