Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to the Vizier Ereven Peronys about business and eliminate the major threats.
2. Speak with Cammona Tong agent Mervis Llarel find information on Galvus Pottreid.
3. In any order:
   • Poison or murder Galvus Pottreid in the Imperial Consulate.
   • Assault the Velothi tower of Uddanu and kill K'Vatra.
4. Return to the Vizier.

Detailed Walkthrough

Now that Orvas Dren is dealt with, the path is open to consolidating House Hlaalu's position by eliminating the Cammona Tong's enemies in Narsis. Speak to the Vizier Ereven Peronys to get information on what to do next. After striking a deal with Orvas Dren, promising both House Hlaalu and the Camonna Tong will become strong, the Vizier will charge you with eliminating the local leader of the Imperial Legion, Galvus Pottreid, as well as K'Vatra, the enigmatic leader of the ruthless criminal organization called the Ja-Natta Syndicate.

As it may be clear already, what follows is a majorly combat heavy quest which can and will test your limits, particularly when it comes to how long you can stay in fights. Getting your best equipment together and stocking up on scrolls and potions is strongly recommended. Additionally, your free infinite teleport in the form of the Crystalline Sigil of the Hlaalu received in the previous quest can serve you well if you need to get out of danger fast, as the Vizier will helpfully point out. While very similar to the Anti-Camonna Tong version of this quest, this quest does offer a stealthier route to avoid a bit of combat.

Subtle Sabotage

The easier of the two targets is Galvus Pottreid, the head of the Narsis Imperial Consulate. The Vizier will advise you speak with Mervis Llarel in the Brevur Heights apartment in the St. Veloth Quarter. Mervis' door is open and he is happy to hear House Hlaalu is willing to help knock Galvus off. When speaking to Mervis about Galvus Pottreid, he advises not attacking him outright, but rather employ a poison into his perfume. Mervis will provide you with a toxin, Essence of Netch Vomit, he had cooked up, and instruct you to break into his room and dump it into his bottle of perfume.

On the second floor of the Imperial Consulate, along the southern wall, you will find two rooms with level 100 locks. One of them is also trapped. This trapped door is the one you will need to break into. Sneak around, break open the lock and avoid the trap. On the far side, you'll see a table with the perfumes and a decanter. Activate the decanter to dump the poison into it. If you've been unseen up to this point, you're in the clear. If you talk to Mervis after having done this, news of Galvus' death will have already reached him.

Driving out the Ja-Natta Syndicate

This section is identical to its counterpart in Crackdown. Uddannu is to the south of the city, and as the Vizier describes it, this is a full on assault. Break into the tower and fight your way to the top, and be prepared for a tough fight with the sload boss. A full breakdown of the battle is well detailed there. Chameleon and Invisibility may help avoid some of the fights on the lower levels of the tower, but some of the loot available can be helpful in fighting K'Vatra.

A More Secure Hlaalu

Once both targets have been taken out, speak to the Vizier again. Proud of the progress you have made in removing the threats against the House's future, the Vizier will be able to hire will be hire three master trainers, identical to the reward you would have received in the [[Tamriel Rebuilt:Crackdown#Hlaalu Victorius
