Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Saldeni Andralor about confess to murder.
2. Find Mureth Arelan at the Last Drop Inn and either:
   • Intimidate him into confessing.
   • Persuade him to confess with 90+ disposition.
3. Report to Saldeni.
4. Go to Heron Hall's prison and kill Mureth.
   • (Optional) Dismiss the guard first (requires Agent or higher in the Imperial Legion).
5. Return to Saldeni and talk to her about Mureth Arelan.

Detailed Walkthrough

The suspicious death of an individual who had been about to testify against a Syndicate member named Suvilo Fadathram in court has made for unwanted attention. Saldeni Andralor wants you to find a scapegoat who can take the eyes off Suvilo. Her pick is a greydust seller named Mureth Arelan. Your task is to get him to confess to murder.

Mureth has a room at the Last Drop Inn in the Foreign Quarter (opposite the Silt Strider platform). Find him and speak to him. You'll need to successfully Intimidate him until his Flee value is 45 or higher, or ask him to confess while he has 90+ disposition or higher. Once he's agreed, return to Saldeni. She's satisfied that the murder is now pinned on Mureth, and desires that he be killed before he can betray any secrets of the Ja-Natta Syndicate.

Go to Heron Hall. Asking about Mureth Arelan here will see you pointed to the prison in the basement. You'll find it's guarded. If you have at least Agent rank in the Imperial Legion, you can speak to one of these guards to get him to leave. Otherwise you'll need to break into Mureth's cell and kill him, likely paying a bounty for your actions. Return to Saldeni afterwards to complete the quest.

Bugs

• In the 25.09 version of the mod, attacking Mureth in prison will see you expelled from the Ja-Natta Syndicate, despite this killing having been on the syndicate's orders. ^?

She explained that a trader in Brevur Heights recently agreed to testify against a mid-level Syndicate member named Suvilo Fadathram in court, but then died under mysterious circumstances. This has brought more unwanted attention to the Syndicate, which Mureth's confession could lessen.
20		Mureth Arelan agreed to confess to murder for the death of the trader in Brevur Heights.
30		Saldeni Andralor told me to go to Heron Hall's jail and kill Mureth Arelan so he doesn't get the chance to turn on the Syndicate.
100	Finishes quest	Saldeni Andralor gave me some gold and potions for killing Mureth Arelan in prison.
110	Finishes quest	Saldeni Andralor was angry that I had killed Mureth Arelan before getting him to confess to murder. She refused to give me any more work.
