Richton aboard his flagship in the introduction

Richton's flagship, also called the Governor's flagship, is a ship mentioned in dialogue with Favis, Krisandra, Prnell, and Yaeli and seen briefly in the introduction cutscene. It was the main ship in Governor Richton's fleet.

Between one and two months before Cyrus arrived on the island, the Restless League blew up the flagship while it was docked in Stros M'Kai's harbor. The burning vessel was visible to Prnell in the Harbor Tower. The League utilized shadow and subterfuge to blow up the ship, not having the means to tackle it on the open sea.

The destruction of Richton's flagship was the League's last successful attack, but it also cost them dearly: Richton's men rounded up and imprisoned anyone associated with their organization. In the end, the attack did little but drive the League further into hiding, causing some citizens of Stros M'Kai to believe them to have been wiped out.

It is not a playable location in-game.

Notes[edit]

  • The 1997 E3 showcase featured a large ship in the harbor not seen in the final game. This could have been an earlier model of Brennan's ship, which is not present in its normal location. It's also possible that the large ship was intended to be Richton's flagship but was cut, introducing the idea of the League blowing it up in later dialogue drafts.
