Behind the Phalanx

Request the aid of ghostly defenders! You may call a defensive wall of soldiers to blockade your position. Every 1 second the soldiers will attempt to stagger nearby foes. In addition, while behind the soldiers you gain a Damage Shield every 5 seconds equal to 10220 / 21721. This can be used once every 30 / 24 seconds.

This verse grants you a Synergy that summons 5 ghostly defenders, generally in a line perpendicular to the direction you are facing, though they may be clumped together if used in tight quarters. They do not do any damage, but will cause nearby enemies to be Interrupted and put Off Balance^{[verification needed — see talk page]} once per second. When standing behind the defenders, you are granted a Damage Shield.
