The Desert Lion is a hostile lion found at a camp in Volenfell, surrounded by dead treasure hunters. The boss is accompanied by three lionesses that should be killed first to simplify the fight.
As it is a miniboss, it is not compulsory to kill the Desert Lion to progress through Volenfell since players can easily run or sneak past it. Defeating this mob is also not required for the respective dungeon quest/pledge.
Skills and Abilities[edit]
As a boss type enemy, the Desert Lion is immune to all crowd control effects.
- Claw
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Rend
- A basic melee attack that hits twice for minor physical damage.
- Debilitating Roar
- The lion roars, causing all players to get feared briefly. Players can break free from this effect.
