Firsthold is under siege, but the commander at the gate doesn't seem worried.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Curime or Earos outside Firsthold.
- Talk to Captain Tendil in Skywatch.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
To begin this quest, you need to speak with Curime at the city's eastern gate or Earos at the western gate. Firsthold is under attack by Mehrunes Dagon's Daedric forces. The city is in need of assistance. The soldier you speak to asks you to bring word of Firsthold's plight to Captain Tendil in Skywatch.
Head southeast of Firsthold, towards Skywatch. Speak with the good captain at the gates of Skywatch, near the wayshrine. He thanks you for informing him of the situation, and rewards you with a small amount of gold.
Notes[edit]
- This quest is only available if you have not started Lifting the Veil.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
