The Anniversary Jubilee is a holiday event that typically takes place in the month of April or May. It is a yearly celebration of the release of ESO. During this event players can obtain a 100% XP buff and the opportunity to acquire a variety of items. The festival also has a special quest associated with it, named Ache For Cake, which repeats every year. In 2024, this quest was replaced by the event quest For Cake's Sake. A notable feature of the event is the inclusion of Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes — special reward containers that grant players various event-themed items.

Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box

This box contains a variety of crafting-related materials, intended for celebrants of the Anniversary Jubilee.

An Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box can be obtained by completing daily or weekly quests during the event. Multiple can be earned each day. As of 2024, they can also be obtained by killing and looting final bosses, completing an Incursion event, receiving Rewards for the Worthy, and possibly receiving Tales of Tribute reward mails. Each Gift Box contains a selection of items, some of which are related to the Anniversary Jubilee. This includes crafting motifs, recipes, furnishing plans and crafting materials (style materials, ores, raw materials, wood, dust, potency runestones, provisioning ingredients, solvents). All of these items can be traded with other players. Rewards vary slightly each year as detailed below.

As of 2024, the first gift box obtained each day will be a Glorious Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box. These boxes contain similar items to the regular gift boxes, but whereas the regular boxes only have a chance at obtaining the rarer event rewards, the Glorious Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes have guaranteed event-specific rewards. Jubilee Cake

A unique feature of the Anniversary Jubilee is the Jubilee Cake, baked by Chef Donolon or his Apprentice Mogh. Previously, once the Ache For Cake quest had been completed, the cake was granted as a Memento that could be called into the world. Once placed, anybody within your group could take a slice and receive a two-hour 100% XP buff that stacked with any other active XP bonuses.

As of 2024, Chef Donolon's quest will be replaced by a new event quest: For Cake's Sake, available from the young Khajiit chef Apprentice Mogh. The 100% experience bonus previously obtained by eating a slice of cake will now be passively applied to all participants; however, eating a slice of cake is still required to obtain Event Tickets. The cake's appearance changes every year, becoming taller and more elaborate or themed to the yearly chapter. Once the event is over, the cake can still be summoned and interacted with but does not grant tickets or an XP buff.

The 2024 Jubilee Cake

The tenth year anniversary event runs from April 4 to April 23, 2024 on PlayStation and Xbox and April 4 to April 25, 2024 for PC, a special extended duration. The 100% experience bonus previously obtained by eating a slice of cake is now passively applied to all participants. Chef Donolon's quest will be replaced by a new event quest: For Cake's Sake, available from the young Khajiit chef Apprentice Mogh. It was originally set to end on April 23 for PC, but was extended due to server errors.

Event Tickets

• 3 Event Tickets each day by using the 2024 Jubilee Cake once per day, per account. The total number of tickets earnable during this event is 60.

Event Vendors

The Impresario will sell the following:

• Bound Style pages for the new Earthbone Ayleid Armor
• The first two fragments for new Master of Schemes personality
• All three fragments for the Molag Bal Illusion Imp pet
• A grab bag containing previous Jubilee Anniversary style pages that you do not already possess - including Worm Cult, Jephrine Paladin, Imperial Champion, Saberkeel Style, Bonemold Style and the Companions outfit styles/motifs. Grab bags may also contain parts for the Aurora Firepot Spider pet and the Desecrated Grave Soil style item.
• Cake furnishings for all cakes from 2019 onwards, including the new one, so long as you own the cake memento for the corresponding year
• New cake slice furnishings for all cakes—no corresponding memento required for purchase!
• Fragments for the new Jubilee Steed mount
• The usual Group Repair Kits and Companion Guild Commendations

In addition to his usual wares, the Impressario's Assistant, Philius Dormier, will sell the following:

• All three fragments for the Unstable Morpholith pet
• All three fragments for the Deadlands Scorcher skin

Nenulaure the Indrik Vendor will sell the following:

• Nascent Indrik feathers
• Luminous Indrik berries
• Icebreath Indrik berries
• Shimmering Indrik pet
• Rimedusk Indrik pet

Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box

In addition to the usual completion of daily quests, new ways of obtaining gift boxes were introduced this year. How to obtain Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes:

• Any daily quest in Tamriel will reward an Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box in addition to its normal rewards.
• A box will be rewarded for killing and looting any final Dungeon boss, final Trial Boss, or World Boss.
• A box will be rewarded for completing any Incursion event, such as a Dark Anchor, Abyssal Geyser, Bastion Nymic, etc.
• A box will be included in the parcel received as part of Rewards for the Worthy reward mail.
• A box has a chance of being included in the parcel received from Tales of Tribute reward mail, with a higher chance to receive one based on the challenge of the opponent or the number of opponents face during a daily.

These boxes can contain the following items:

• Crafting materials
• A small chance for a motif chapter, furnishing recipe, or style item
• A chance for 1 to 10 Transmute Crystals
• A chance for Desecrated Grave Soil, the Worm Cult style item
• A small chance for a tradeable style page for last year's Bonemold armor style
• Another small chance for a tradeable style page from any of the Bonemold, Saberkeel, or Worm Cult outfit styles

This year, Glorious Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes were also introduced to the event. The first box received each day will be a Glorious Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box, which contain:

• Crafting materials
• A motif chapter, furnishing recipe, or style item
• A tradeable outfit style page for the new Earthbone Ayleid armor style
• A fragment for the new Jubilee Steed mount (requires 25 fragments)
• 1 to 10 Transmute Crystals
• Desecrated Grave Soil, the Worm Cult style item

New Style Pages

In addition to the Earthbone Ayleid armor style, this event introduced several new artifact style pages obtainable in-game during the event:

• Trueflame Sword Replica — an extremely small chance to earn it while fishing any node
• Staff of Worms Replica — a chance to drop from any Dolmen reward chest
• Sunna'rah Replica — a chance to drop from any World Boss in Vvardenfell
• Barbas Helmet Replica — a chance to drop from any World Boss in Vvardenfell
• Ul'vor Staff Replica — a chance to drop from any Abyssal Geyser shell trove in Summerset

New Achievements

An Anniversary Jubilee achievement sub-category was added in the Holiday Events category for the 2024 event. These achievements include the following:

• Cake Devourer - Acquire a slice of cake from every Jubilee Cake. Rewards the "Cake Connoisseur" title
• Jubilee Cake Slice 2016-2018 - Acquire a cake slice from the 2016-2018 Jubilee Cake
• Jubilee Cake Slice 2019 - Acquire a cake slice from the 2019 Jubilee Cake
• Jubilee Cake Slice 2020 - Acquire a cake slice from the 2020 Jubilee Cake
• Jubilee Cake Slice 2021 - Acquire a cake slice from the 2021 Jubilee Cake
• Jubilee Cake Slice 2022 - Acquire a cake slice from the 2022 Jubilee Cake
• Jubilee Cake Slice 2023 - Acquire a cake slice from the 2023 Jubilee Cake

Anniversary Jubilee 2023

Celebrate ESO's birthday with cake and more during the 2023 Anniversary Jubilee in-game event.

The 2023 Jubilee Cake

The ninth year anniversary event ran from April 6 to April 18, 2023.

During the Anniversary Jubilee you will receive Anniversary Jubilee Gift Boxes for completing different daily quests. These boxes can provide new style pages to unlock the Bonemold Armor outfit styles. In addition, each anniversary gift provides crafting materials and a chance at valuable motif pages, crafting recipes, and style items.

Event Tickets

• 3 Event Tickets each day by using the 2023 Jubilee Cake once per day, per account. Any cake, including the new one, will grant you a 2 hour experience bonus.

The Impresario

The Impresario will sell the following:

• Bound Style pages for the Bonemold Armor.
• The first fragment of new Meadowbreeze Memories skin.
• All three fragments needed for the Passion's Muse personality.
• All three fragments for the Passion Dancer Blossom pet.
• A grab bag containing previous Jubilee Anniversary style pages that you do not already possess - including Worm Cult, Jephrine Paladin, Imperial Champion, Saberkeel Style and the Companions outfit styles/motifs.
• Cake furnishings for all cakes from 2019 onwards, including the new one, so long as you own the cake memento for the corresponding year.

Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box

• Any daily quest in Tamriel will reward an Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box in addition to its normal rewards. These boxes can contain crafting materials, transmutation crystals, motif pages and style items.
• In addition, each box has a small chance to give you a tradeable style page for the new Bonemold Armor style.

Gifting Event Tickets

During the event there is an exchange where gifting other players five or more Event Tickets in total will see you receive four Ragebound Crates once the event is finished. The minimum number of tickets needed can be spread between multiple recipients.

Crown Store Deals

During the anniversary, there is a discount on Crown Packs. Additionally, several limited and discounted items are available in the Crown Store during this time.

Anniversary Jubilee 2021

The 2021 Jubilee Cake

Eat cake and enjoy bonus XP and rewards during the Anniversary Jubilee in-game event and join us in celebrating ESO's 7th birthday!

The seventh year anniversary event ran from April 1 to April 15, 2021. The event was initially meant to run until April 13, but was extended on all platforms due to maintenance downtime on the PlayStation servers on April 5, 2021.

Like previous years, you could complete the event's Ache For Cake quest to obtain the Jubilee Cake 2021 memento. Using the memento during the event gave you a two-hour 100% XP boost.

Completing daily quests gifted you an Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box, which contained the same loot as 2020's anniversary event, with some additions. Notably Imperial Champion weapon style pages were introduced during the event.

You had the chance of earning a max of 39 Event Tickets during the Event run. Three tickets could be earned by using the Jubilee Cake 2021 memento once per day. During the event, the Impresario introduced the first two fragments for the Deadlands Firewalker personality: the Vial of Simmering Daedric Brew and Vial of Bubbling Daedric Brew along with the 2021 replica cake and bound pages for the Imperial Champion Style.

Anniversary Jubilee 2020

The 2020 Jubilee Cake

The sixth year anniversary event ran from April 2 to April 14, 2020. This event and drops were similar to previous years, including a new 2020 Jubilee Cake Memento, XP buff and Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box. Three Event Tickets could be earned each day by eating a slice of cake, and an additional two could be earned by defeating any boss in the game (Delve, World, Dungeon, Dragon, etc.) once per day. A total of 000006565  were available from the event.

Notable additions this year were the introduction of the new Jephrine Paladin Style pages and replica Jubilee Cake furnishings.

Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box 2020 Loot

Each Gift Box contains a wide variety of items identical to the previous year. In 2020, the drops were updated to include some of the newer Crafting Motifs and furnishing recipes released in the last year, including:

Anniversary Jubilee 2019

The 2019 Jubilee Cake

The fifth year anniversary event ran from April 4 to May 9, 2019. This event was similar to the previous year (including the XP buff and a new 2019 Jubilee Cake Memento) but ran for five weeks - one week to represent each year since launch.

The activities players partook in to earn a Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box were more varied, with a different one for each week of the event. The first week players earned Gift Boxes by completing crafting writs. The second week was by completing Delve and World Boss Dailies. The third week was by completing Alliance War or Battlegrounds daily quests. The fourth week was by completing daily Pledges for Dungeons and Trials. Finally, the fifth week players could complete any of the previous weeks activities to earn Gift Boxes. In addition, the contents of Gift Boxes were altered slightly each week, giving a chance to drop a different Companion Style page for four of the Five Companions.

Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box 2019 Loot

Each Gift Box contains a wide variety of items identical to the previous year. In 2019 they also had a chance to contain Jewelry Crafting materials, both raw and refined, including a very small chance at Chromium Plating. Aetheric Ciphers, Mother of Pearl and Clam Gall were also added to the potential drops. To make room for these additions, the rate of obtaining previous Furnishing Materials and Motifs were slightly lowered.

Throughout the entire event two Event Tickets could be obtained by interacting with the Jubilee Cake 2019 each day. By the end of the event a total of 72 tickets were obtainable. As such, The Impresario sold a large number of items during the event, included the aforementioned Companion style pages and all four Luminous Berries required to evolve the Nascent Indrik into a Luminous Indrik mount.

Anniversary Jubilee 2018

The 2018 Jubilee Cake

The fourth year anniversary event ran from April 4 to April 23, 2018. This event was identical to the previous year, including a new 2018 Jubilee Cake Memento, XP buff and Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box. One notable addition this year was the chance to obtain rarer motif chapters previously only available in Vvardenfell, Horns of the Reach dungeons and the Clockwork City. In addition, this year introduced the chapters from the Worm Cult Style which can only be found in the Anniversary Gift Boxes.

Zemimax Studios also released various statistics after reaching the 10 million players milestone. These included total number of monsters killed, items crafted, most popular race and more.

The third year anniversary event ran from April 4 to April 18, 2017. This event was identical to the previous year, but with the introduction of the Anniversary Jubilee Gift Box. These gift boxes could be obtained by completing daily or weekly quests during the event. In addition, a new Jubilee Cake Memento for 2017 was granted to players.

Anniversary Jubilee 2016

The 2016 Jubilee Cake

The inaugural Anniversary Jubilee celebrated the game's two-year anniversary. It ran from April 3 to April 12, 2016. The event itself was relatively basic and introduced the quest Ache For Cake, which involved helping Chef Donolon bake his new Jubilee Cake recipe. The 2016 Jubilee Cake Memento was given as a reward, and would result in a 100% Experience bonus for you and your group when activated during the event. Due to a bug with XP buff stacking, the event was extended from April 10 to April 12.

Notes

• There was no event to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of ESO's release in April 2015, however the Welcome Back Weekend event took place around that time.
