What happens to Gwinas after he runs away in horror from the bookstore? Is he then still staying at the Tiber Septim, or does he "return" to Valenwood? --Quill 07:32, 18 August 2007 (EDT)

Oddly, I found Gwinas dead in the doorway of the Hotel. Is this supposed to happen?

I waited in the First edition store for hours but he never came for the 3rd Mythic Dawn book. I searched the hotel and he isn't there either (there's only a dead fish near the marker where he's supposed to be...!?!) Where is he hiding??? Can I use the console to make him appear???

Have you talked to Phintias about the book? If you haven't, that may be why Gwinas isn't arriving. If you have, then you don't need Gwinas to get the 3rd book, as you can just steal it from a locked chest in the First Edition store. Although you do need him to get the fourth book... Hopefully if you steal the book, your journal will update. If not, then you can use player.placeatme 00022466 or the setstage command (info on the bottom of The Path of Dawn quest page). i cant find him either,ive got the three books,but no gwinas anywhere!...im playing it on the ps3
