Ulath[edit]

The Ulath Tribe (also known as the Ulathi) is a minor Ashlander tribe that lives in the Stonefalls region of mainland Morrowind. Little is known of them, as they are hostile to outsiders. The Cave of Memories, a small cave northwest of Heimlyn Keep, serves as their ancestral burial grounds. They are particularly devoted to the Daedric Prince Mephala, one of the Three Good Daedra, and make silver armlets fashioned in the semblance of a spiderweb to honor her.

Their wise-women were known to don long gray fungus-linen wrap-shrouds, draped many times around their torsos during Holy Meditation. They were also known to bless certain pieces of equipment.

Undaunted[edit]

The Undaunted were a loose faction of adventurers contemporary with the Three Banners War. Neutral in the ongoing war, the Undaunted had members all across Tamriel and worked together to raid the greatest dungeons in the land for wealth and glory. They had so-called enclaves in some major cities, such as Mournhold, Elden Root, and Wayrest but often chose to meet at inns or taverns.

University of Gwylim[edit]

The University of Gwylim (also called the University of Gwilym or Gwylim University) is an ancient scholarly organization dating back to the late First Era, and was founded by the Ayleid scholar Tjurhane Fyrre. The University of Gwylim Press has been responsible for many publications throughout history. It is known that the university awards the Gwylim Prize to scholars at times.

The University of Gwylim itself is found in Cyrodiil. Phrastus of Elinhir originally taught at the university before being forced to flee to Elinhir due to the Three Banners War. There is a forbidden section of Gwylim University containing books, and it is unknown what else it carries. They have a satellite campus called the Gwylim Annex in Solitude.

Unmakers[edit]

The Unmakers were a Second Era cult devoted to Sithis the Unmaker. They were led by the self-proclaimed Daughter of Sithis, an Imperial woman named Lalais. Originally a noblewoman from Leyawiin, Lalais dabbled in dark lore, and surrendered herself eagerly to the darkness she found within Deepscorn Hollow.

The Unmakers established themselves within the ancient halls of Deepscorn Hollow, believed to have been a site sacred to Sithis for untold ages. The cult emerged in Blackwood during the chaos of the Three Banners War, and many wealthy socialites were attracted to its cause. The cultists believed that the world would be reborn once all was consumed by the jaws of the Void. For this purpose, the cult began to kidnap captives to undergo "Death of the Crystal Fangs": ritualistic sacrifice through the use of life-draining red crystals. In truth, the cult served nothing but Lalais's own avarice and lust, and those foolish enough to join her were bewitched into believing her to be the embodiment of Sithis's dark will.

Circa 2E 582, mercenaries descended upon Deepscorn Hollow in search of Quistley Silvelle, a Breton nobleman who had recently fallen in with the cult. With the aid of the Vestige, Quistley was located and rescued from the cult before he could be sacrificed. The Vestige confronted Lalais and her "brother" (a giant flesh colossus) within the Fane of Scorn and defeated them, ending the threat of the cult.

Urshilaku Tribe[edit]

The Urshilaku Tribe is one of the four distinct tribes of the Ashlanders of Vvardenfell, in the province of Morrowind. The Urshilaku are known as lore-keepers and mystics, they are highly-respected, and are in fact, the second-most populated tribe in the region. They commonly live along the northern coast, in the Urshilaku Camp where the West Gash meets the Ashlands. The Urshilaku Tribe are staunch believers in that the Nerevarine would return to unite the people. A sub-sect of the Urshilaku, known as the Nerevarine Cult are the ones that enforce this belief and worshipped Indoril Nerevar. The Urshilaku Tribe are known to keep Guar bones, because it is believed that the soul of the guar lingers in the bones and that they can continue to guide them, even after death. The Urshilaku Burial Caverns are found just east of Bthungthumz.
