Basic enemy types[edit]
Foot Soldier[edit]
- Weapon- sword
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Heavy Attack
- A heavy melee attack that does moderate physical damage. It can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- Throw Dagger
- The enemy backs away from the player and throws a dagger at the player causing snare and bleed if it connects. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance. The dagger can be blocked to prevent the snare and bleed and reduce the damage done.
- Ignite
- A combo move that is only performed if Archers, Fire Mages or other fire using enemies (Flame Atronachs, Scamps etc.) are around. The enemy throws a glob of tar under the player's feet as indicated by a red circle. While this does no damage, standing in it will snare the player. The Soldier will call for the other enemy to light the tar (usually accompanied by a voice clip) and the red circle will burn, doing moderate flame damage over time to enemies within the red circle.

Ravager[edit]
- weapon- 2-handed
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Uppercut
- A melee attack that causes moderate physical damage and knock back if it connects. This attack can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- Cleave
- The enemy swings its sword around, doing minor physical damage to all enemies in front of it.
- Dremora caitiff, durblog ravager
Tank[edit]
- Weapon – 1 sword and shield
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Power Bash
- A heavy shield bash that does moderate damage and stuns if it hits the player. This attack can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- Block
- The enemy may also briefly block with its shield, reducing damage taken greatly. Players that attempt heavy attacks on the enemy when it is blocking will be set off balance.
- May have more health than the average mob.
Fire Mage[edit]
- Weapon- flame staff (staff with flame effects at the end)
- Flare
- A basic ranged attack that does minor flame damage.
- Heat Wave
- The enemy releases fire along the ground in the direction it is facing. This attack does moderate flame damage to all players hit by it. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.
- Fire Runes
- The enemy shoots two fireballs in the air which form two fire runes when they land. The runes do moderate flame damage over time to all enemies within the red circles and should be avoided. Players should be prepared to move as soon as the attack casts as one rune will always be cast on top of you.
- Covenant pyromancer, stonefire incendiary, stonechewer witch etc.
Frost Mage[edit]
- Weapon- ice staff (staff with ice effects at the end)
- Ice Arrow
- A basic ranged attack that does minor frost damage.
- Winter's Reach
- The enemy releases an icy whirlwind in the direction it is facing. This whirlwind does moderate frost damage and roots all players that it hits. Root effect passes through block, and can be escaped by roll dodging.
- Summon Ice Barrier
- The enemy summons an Ice Barrier that absorbs projectiles fired at it until destroyed. The player should move so that there is a clear line of sight between themselves and the enemy.

Storm Mage[edit]
- Weapon- lightning staff (staff with lightning effects)
- Shock
- A basic ranged attack that does minor shock damage.
- Thunder Thrall
- The enemy teleports to you and summons a bolt of lightning that strikes a large area around itself. This attack does moderate shock damage to all players as indicated by the red circle. This attack can be avoided by moving out of the red circle.

Necromancer[edit]
- Weapon- necromantic staff (staff that glows with a teal green fire)
- Necrotic Spear
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Summon the Dead
- The enemy often begins combat by summoning a zombie or a skeleton. If killed, another one will be summoned to replace it.
- Empower Undead
- The enemy channels a buff on a nearby humanoid undead (eg. skeletons, zombies, even bone colossus) that causes that enemy to do twice the damage. This spell appears as a green glow around the hands of the buffed enemy, as well as the necromancer. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.

Archer[edit]
Weapon- bow
- Quick Shot
- A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.
- Arrow Spray
- The enemy shoots a spray of arrows in the direction it is facing as indicated by a red cone. This attack does moderate physical damage as well as snares all enemies hit. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided. Blocking also prevents the snare and reduces the damage.
- Volley
- The enemy fires continuously at an area as indicated by a red circle. This attack does moderate physical damage over time. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.
- Taking Aim
- This skill is exclusive to Archers in Craglorn and other group areas. The enemy charges a heavy shot, and its bow glows red. This attack does very high physical damage, but can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance. This attack is also telegraphed by a voice clip (ready to fire, taking aim, target in sight etc.)

Assassin[edit]
Weapon- dual daggers
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Whirlwind
- The enemy spins around, doing moderate physical damage to all players as indicated by a red circle. Blocking will reduce the damage taken.
- Assassinate
- The enemy strikes at the player's back for moderate physical damage. This attack can only be performed if the enemy is behind the player, and thus Assassins will often leap to get behind the player. Ensure your character is facing the enemy at all times to prevent this.
Healer[edit]
Weapon- resto staff (staff with glowing yellow effects on the end)
- Minor Wound
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Focused Healing
- The enemy will heal any allies that are hurt, including itself. Enemies often indicate this by calling out for healing (I'm hurt!, I need healing!, Healer! etc.) This effect appears as a yellow beam connecting the healer and its target. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.
Advanced Enemy Types[edit]
Shaman[edit]
Weapon- one handed, usually a dagger.
- Coiled Lash
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Summon Aura of Protection
- The enemy summons an Aura of Protection totem that gives allies inside increased resistance to damage. The totem can be destroyed in five hits from any source, or one heavy attack. Destroying the totem will stun all enemies nearby.
Knight[edit]
Weapon- mace and shield.
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Fiery Breath
- The enemy breaths fire as indicated by a red cone. This attack does moderate flame damage over time and snares all enemies within the cone. This attack can be blocked to reduce damage or simply avoided.
- Dark Talons
- The enemy casts dark talons rooting the player in place while doing moderate damage. The player can roll to escape the root.
- Lava Whip
- The enemy winds up a flaming whip which does moderate flame damage to the player. This attack can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- May have more health compared to the average mob.
Pet Ranger[edit]
Weapon-bow
- Quick Shot
- A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.
- Summon Animal
- At the beginning of combat, the enemy blows a horn and summons an animal companion to fight. This animal is usually appropriate to the zone the enemy appears in.
- Roll Dodge
- The enemy may perform a roll dodge to avoid attacks.
- May have less health than the average mob.
Bonelord[edit]
Weapon- one handed mace
- Entropic Bolt
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Summon Undead
- The enemy summons a flesh atronach or a bone golem to fight. The minion will die if the bonelord is killed.
- Defiled Grave
- The enemy casts a rune on the ground that activates after a while, rooting players who step in it. This attack does no damage and can be simply avoided. The root can be escaped by roll dodging.
- May have less health than the average mob.
Thundermaul[edit]
Weapon- two handed mace
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Thunder Hammer
- The enemy swings and shocks the ground in front of it as indicated by a red cone. This attack does moderate shock damage and can be avoided by moving out of the red cone. Blocking will also reduce damage done.
- Shock Aura
- The enemy shocks the ground around itself as indicated by a red circle. This attack does moderate shock damage and can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.
Spirit Master[edit]
Weapon- mystic staff (staff with pale swirls around the end)
- Ice Arrow
- A basic ranged attack that does minor frost damage.
- Summon Burdening Eye
- The enemy summons a Burdening Eye that moves toward the player.
- Stare
- If the Burdening Eye touches the player, it explodes, temporarily rooting the player in place and doing moderate magical damage.

The enemy channels a shield on an ally, which greatly reduces magical damage taken. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.
Berserker[edit]
Weapon- dual axes
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Blood Craze
- The enemy slashes at you twice, doing moderate physical damage over time to the player. This attack also heals the enemy over time.
- Agony
- The enemy stuns the player for short time. Taking damage from any source will break the stun, although the player may choose to break free from it instead. After the stun ends, this spell also does moderate magical damage over time to the player. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.
- Roll Dodge
- The enemy can perform a roll dodge to avoid incoming damage.
Brute[edit]
Weapon- axe and shield
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Low Slash
- The enemy slashes the player's shins, doing moderate physical damage and snaring the player. Blocking will reduce the damage taken and prevent the snare.
- Charge
- The enemy charges forward, doing moderate physical damage as well as knocking down any player within the red rectangle. Blocking will reduce the damage taken and prevent the knock down. If the enemy does not hit anything, it will be stunned for a few seconds.
Time Bomb Mage[edit]
Weapon- primitive staff (staff with purple effects at the end)
- Entropic Flare
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Void
- The enemy summons a purple orb from the sky that explodes when it hits the ground splitting into three projectiles. Although there is a large red circle indicator for this attack, the player will not take damage unless hit by the projectile itself. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.
Fear Mage[edit]
Weapon- illusion staff (staff with red effects at the end)
- Fright Force
- A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
- Aspect of Terror
- The enemy casts a spell that fears the player for a short time, in which they cannot move or perform any actions. This effect passes through block, and players can break free from it. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance, or avoided using roll dodge.
Battlemage[edit]

- Flare
- A basic ranged attack that does minor flame damage.
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Ice Cage
- The enemy summons a ring of frost around itself that does moderate frost damage over time to all players in the red circle.
- Impending Storm
- The enemy charges up and releases lightning from itself as indicated by red circles. This attack does moderate shock damage to all enemies hit. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.
Nightblade[edit]
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Veiled Strike
- The enemy cloaks and prepares to slash the player. This attack does moderate physical damage and will stun the player briefly. This attack can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- Teleport Strike
- The enemy teleports and stabs the player. This attack does moderate physical damage and stuns the player briefly.
- Roll Dodge
- The enemy can roll dodge to avoid attacks.

Sentry[edit]
weapon- one sword
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Notes- Sentries are the only enemies that can see through disguises. They are often given torches to distinguish them from normal enemies.
Vanquisher[edit]
weapon- one sword, with spears on back
- Quick Strike
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Heavy Strike
- A heavy melee strike that does moderate physical damage. This attack can be blocked to set the enemy off balance.
- Block
- The enemy will block, reducing incoming damage. This is always followed by Retaliation.
- Retaliation
- The enemy spins around, staggering as well as doing moderate physical damage to the player. This attack can be blocked to reduce damage taken and set the enemy off balance.
- Javelin
- The enemy throws a javelin from afar, staggering as well as doing moderate physical damage to the player. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance. Blocking wil reduce the damage taken and prevent the stagger.
Reachmage[edit]

- Flare
- A basic ranged attack that does minor flame damage.
- Grasping Vines
- The enemy sends vines towards the player as indicated by a red circle. If the player gets hit, the player will be rooted and take moderate physical damage over time. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided. The player can also roll dodge to escape the root.
- Grasping Vineburst
- If the player does not escape the root, the vines explode for moderate flame damage as indicated by a red circle.
- Flames
- The enemy sends out waves of flames as indicated by multiple red circles. This spell does moderate flame damage to all players hit by it. This spell can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.

- Divine Leap
- The enemy leaps into the air and lands on the player's position after a short time. This attack does moderate physical damage to all players as indicated by a red circle. The enemy will have increased damage resistance and crowd control immunity for a short time after landing.

- The enemy releases three shockwaves in front of itself, dealing moderate physical damage and stagger as indicated by red circles.

- A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.
- Spectral Claw
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
- Dive
- The enemy summons a cliff racer that dive bombs the area dealing moderate magical damage as indicated by a red circle.

- The enemy summons a Haj Mota that charges forwards, dealing moderate physical damage and knocking back all enemies as indicated by a red circle.

- The enemy summons a Feral Guardian to assist it in combat.

Faction Skills[edit]
These skills are used by all enemies of a particular faction, regardless of their type.
Covenant, Dominion, Pact soldiers[edit]
- Warhorn
- The enemy blows a horn, giving increased health and damage to all allies in range.
- Caltrops
- The enemy throws caltrops on the ground, snaring and doing moderate physical damage over time to all players as indicated by a red circle.
Bandits[edit]
- Bear Trap
- The enemy places bear traps on the ground. This attack will do moderate physical damage and root all enemies as indicated by a red circle.
Worm Cult[edit]
- Self-Sacrifice
- When low on health, the cultist stabs himself/herself with a knife, summoning a ghost from its own body.
- Summon Daedric Arch
- The enemy summons a Deadric arch, which releases a few banekin. Destroying the arch will kill all banekin.
Undead[edit]
- Desecrated Ground
- When killed, the undead leaves behind a pool of sludge that slows and does moderate magical damage over time to all players as indicated by a red circle. Any undead within the circle will also be healed.
Vampires[edit]
- Drain Health
- The enemy drains life from the player, doing moderate magical damage over time. This attack also heals nearby allies.
