Skyrim NO Public Demo — July 14, 2011

Despite previous reports of a public demo for TESV: Skyrim at QuakeCon, Bethesda Softworks has now stated that they won't be releasing one.

Until people learn to use more-exact terminology, we'll have to assume this means that the QuakeCon event will be a non-interactive showing of the demo shown to journalists at E3, and that the company won't be releasing a playable demo before 11/11/11.

UPDATE: It's now being called a "Presentation" with Todd Howard, and will take place at 1pm CDT on Friday August 5, which means 7pm BST and 8pm CEST.
