UESPWiki:New Page Requests
If you are creating a new Online article in response to a request made on this page, first check whether a talk page has been created. If appropriate, you may want to simply move the talk page to the article; otherwise, you may want to copy and paste content from the talk page. If you have no other information to add to the article, simply add the following content: {{Trail}}{{Empty}}If possible, provide a more complete trail, e.g., {{Trail|Creatures}} on an article about a creature. Also, try to add a link to the new article on the appropriate parent article, for example, add the new article to Online:Creatures. |

Daggerfall:Disintegrate[edit]
Please, someone help. I do not understand how does the spell "disintegrate" works nor what is the chance for it to succeed. 85.222.170.180, October 7th 2015
Differences between ESO and previous games[edit]
As a brand-new player to ESO, and also a newcomer to MMORPG in general, I have been searching the site for something that would serve as a good intro and outline what to expect after Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I have found all the specifics I expect from the UESP, but what I had hoped to find here, as it was for the first three in "Differences between ..." is a page that helps bridge the differences between this new gaming experience in ESO, and all the games that came before. I would be willing to help out if, as an FNG, I have anything of value to contribute. I fear that there may be some veteran editors here who aspire to adhere completely to the encyclopedic style and might think it was not worth the effort to add a page that is not strictly along that style, but I feel, as a longtime user of the UESP, that what made it great for me was the information provided in that encyclopedic, high-standards style IN CONJUNCTION WITH the less formal pages that could add a little fun, or a little trivia, or just that basic information that made gameplay that bit more understandable for those who are not yet comfortable in their grasp of the way the machine runs as a whole. I think the page I'm requesting could be the difference between easing into a game and having the patience and faith to keep at it until it becomes comfortable, and giving up because it it so vastly different from what we have had from TES before. To be honest, I HATE ESO right now. Only Dark Souls has made me feel the same level of love and frustration for a game at outset. If we could create a page to make the transition a little less of a shock, it would, I think, reflect well on the site, and I know I cannot be the only person to wish for it in beginning ESO. Thanks, Crayolamanic (talk) 01:31, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- Personally I can't see the practical purpose of such a page. ESO is a completely different style of game, meaning the neatly grouped differences on this page really don't apply. TES3, 4 and 5 are all singleplayer RPGs with very similar gameplay; ESO is an MMO, with the full weight of that genre behind it. It can't be directly compared to the main series. What I'd propose instead would be a 'Starting Out' article of some kind, explaining the game to new players without any mention of the older games, to avoid spreading further the misconception that ESO is Skyrim 2. —Legoless (talk) 01:43, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
-
- Thanks, Legoless, for the quick reply. However you think it would work best, I would be happy to lend a hand, as I said. I can see your point, and as I was sort of expecting a flat dismissal, I am glad that there is some willingness to make an attempt at addressing bridging the gap. Let me know what you would like to do and what I could do to contribute. Anything I may not be able to tackle on my own, I will happily work with any willing editors on, and I think JR will likely give some help here and there with technical stuff; he has offered this kind of distant assistance not long ago. Just give me any direction you can think of, and I will get on it. I'm not wiki-proficient, and new to ESO, but have an aptitude for content writing and editing. Skyrim:Iman[edit]
A simple request: during this Skyrim quest, it is revealed that one of the characters, Skyrim:Saadia, is using an alias, and that her real name is Iman. Why not set up Skyrim:Iman as a redirect to Skyrim:Saadia? It'd take about 5 seconds. 73.162.99.166 18:33, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
- I can't see the use of it, unless we were to move Saadia to Iman. The only time you hear the name Iman is when talking to her, its not used by Kematu or any other person involved, so the only page that would reasonably require that redirect is the page it would be pointing at. Even for people looking for Iman, they already know her new name, which she keeps after the quest. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:03, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
-
- Not to dredge up an old topic, but given that we now have a page, The Scarlet Judge that redirects to Melar Sadus (who has the same sort of situation), this topic may be worth reconsideration. gelza1Talk Cont 22:49, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
Oblivion:Merchant Chests[edit]
It would be great to have a list of all merchant chests in Oblivion, complete with their location and how to reach them on both PC and console (if possible). — Unsigned comment by 104.34.21.155 (talk) at 23:58 on 1 October 2016
- I don't know any chests off-hand that can be reached by console players (i.e. without use of tlc), so this page would have no relevance to what you experience in the game. Nor is there any use for documenting the contents as they are displayed on the merchants article. The only use I can see for this page is to make it easier for modders to find a chest in order to get its editor id in order to alter the contents. Another reason might be to steal the contents, but seeing as you would be using the console to access the chest, you'd be better off just adding items directly through the console and avoid potential bugs caused by messing around with the chests. In short, the chests are an irrelevance to normal players, and the only useful documentation related to them is on the relevant pages already. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 23:36, 1 October 2016 (UTC)

- Another option could be to include the locations of the merchant chests on each place page. I'm not sure if this would be needed (because of the points made by The Silencer) but if someone's willing to either assemble a list or put locations on each place page, that could be a good idea. Alliances in Hostile Territories[edit]
Should there be a page for the alliance forces in other alliances' zones in ESO?
For example... Daggerfall Covenant (Pact Territories).? They're essentially a separate "faction", since they are automatically hostile, instead of being friendly. (And even if you are in, say, the Covenant, they will still be hostile to you when you go do story/etc in Stonefalls. I think that makes them potentially pageworthy. (And the alliance pages are full enough of the overarching storyline that anyone searching for information about those particular enemies won't otherwise be able to find them easily). Timeoin (talk) 02:39, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
Black Soul Gem[edit]
Should there be a lore page for this? They appear in Oblivion, Skyrim, and ESO. Timeoin (talk) 22:16, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
- Checking, there is a page but it is currently redirect to main soul gem page.
Lore: Aedric Artifacts[edit]
Browsing through the pages I had noticed there is not collected lore page for Aedric Artifacts, and no category for Aedric Artifacts. — Unsigned comment by 99.229.96.39 (talk) at 15:57 on 17 December 2017
- Artifacts are not categorized anywhere. The only specific page is a redirect for Skyrim because there is a trophy/achievement for collecting them, which goes to the Daedric Quests page. The only other relevant thing is that artifacts are mentioned on each Aedra and Daedric Princes individual page, but other than that there is no Daedric Artifacts, Aedra, or any other type. I don't think those pages would be of much use especially in lore space. They would have some use in game space, such as in Oblivion for the item to give to Martin, as well as the Skyrim page, but that information has been successfully integrated into pages that would exist regardless. Online: API Versions[edit]
Can we have a page with a history of the API versions? Dates/game version/major changes? I don't understand wiki and don't know where to research the details. As a wiki user, i was unable to find what i was looking for...which is the current API version...that i needed for an addon command (FCOItemsaver) — Unsigned comment by 162.252.225.168 (talk) at 23:01 on 23 February 2018
Daggerfall:Soundtrack[edit]
I have created an unofficial LP-like soundtrack for Daggerfall, encompassing all music from the first two games, rendered with a high quality soundfont, and encoded losslessly. I've tried to make it flow as a journey through towns and dungeons and it's all mixed down properly. MIDIs can be a bit unwieldy, especially these days, and Arena and Daggerfall's MIDI organization is a mess, so I wanted an elegant alternative. I'm more than happy to draw up the page and make it look nice, but to be honest I'm a n00b at Wiki editing and I don't even really know if I'm adding this message right. Anyway, download is here: https://app.box.com/shared/static/pzh0py916pj6e50xrzkujqwwmdy2nkql.zip — Unsigned comment by Helegad (talk • contribs) at 19:23 on 30 September 2018
Online: Folded Note[edit]
What is this object called a "Folded Note"? I picked it up somewhere in Auridon and dare not use it. It went into Supplies->Trophy in my inventory, and is tagged as a quest starter(unique). What quest does it start? — Unsigned comment by 148.71.59.180 (talk) at 07:12 on 1 June 2019
-
- It starts the quest Real Marines in Silsailen. Also, I am not sure why you asked the question here.--Talyyn (talk) 08:33, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
- On reflection, the Folded Note should be linked to the letter. If there is one, in some of the older quests, the "letter" would be a dialogue box.--Talyyn (talk) 08:36, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
- There is no "book" text in the log, but there are some logs of such an item. Someone who has it will need to create the page to get the text. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:49, 1 June 2019 (UTC)
- I'm not sure it is an actual book. I did that quest a few months ago and filled out the quest page and added the dialogue from said note. Some quests, like The Watcher in the Walls and That Which Was Lost, the letter/note is in fact a dialogue which isn't actually a recordable book. In the case of the The Water of the Walls, there was discussion on the discord that the best spot for such quests starters that didn't have a book attached was to record the text on the relevant quest page.
- Furthermore, with this particular quest, there are two ways to start it and for some reason it is entirely possible to pick up the note without realizing it and then start and complete the quest from Hanilan. With the Folded Note remaining in your inventory but it can be dropped.--Talyyn (talk) 23:54, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

Easter Eggs[edit]
there should be a page linking or collecting all the easter eggs pages into one.— Unsigned comment by Unifrenchie (talk • contribs) at 03:52 on 21 April 2020
- Currently we have the Easter Eggs table template:
|
- But a General:Easter Eggs could work with that on it, though I think more people should discuss it first.

Skyrim: Dragonborn Magic[edit]
Like the Dawnguard DLC, add a page that covers what magics (shouts, spells, passive and active powers, etc.) the Dragonborn DLC added — Unsigned comment by 174.198.166.43 (talk) at 23:06 on 12 April 2021 (UTC)
Morrowind Mod:Morrowind Optimization Patch[edit]
One of the essential Morrowind mods next to Morrowind Mod:Patch for Purists (which already has a page). Not really sure what to say there, but it definitely deserves a page. --Agiletek (talk) 04:32, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
Lore: Aldarch[edit]
An Aldarch is a religious title in Altmer society and seems to be akin to a higher level priest and seem to be of higher rank than Monastics. Aldarchs can have their own guards called Aldarch-Protectors. Perhaps this page can be a more generic page like Lore: Altmer Clergy or something similar. — Unsigned comment by 62.45.242.43 (talk) at 12:32 on 21 January 2022 (UTC)
Lore:Martial Arts[edit]
Similar to the Lore:Languages page, a collection of links to pages that describe the martial arts throughout the Elder Scrolls series sorted by their practitioners, and simply naming them if there is no page to link to, would be incredibly useful.
Couldron[edit]
and a reference for 30 misspelled 'Cauldron' mentionings ??? . The "Large Iron Couldron" in Palensour can be filled.85.149.83.125 20:30, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
- I don't understand this request. For what purpose do we need a page about Cauldrons, and in which namespace? (Also "Cauldron" is the correct spelling, "Couldron" is not.) --Enodoc (talk) 14:10, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
Online: Citizen (In Memory Of)[edit]
Several Imperial and Wood Elf citizens will attend the celebration at Beragon's townhouse. You won't be able to interact with them.
Online: Bloodmaw (Lake Olo)[edit]
Bloodmaw is a big bear that is summoned by Oakenclaw when you fight it.
Online: Silver Bird[edit]
When you reach the Deepwoods during Thorns and Blossoms, you will find a Silver Bird on a rock.
This bird is an illusion left by the Gardener and when you interact with it:
- Silver Bird: "Seek a ritual recorded in ancient stone, weary traveler."
- Silver Bird: "Rest you shall find, behind an egress revealed by royal lavender."
- <The illusion of the bird disappears and Tanlorin finishes writing.>
- Tanlorin: "… Royal lavender. Got it! I jotted it down, so we won't forget."
Online: Indoril Hireling[edit]
One of the random encounters involves an Indoril Hireling being intimidated by a Cliff Strider in the Telvanni Peninsula.
The hireling will cry out:
- Indoril Hireling: "Help! Someone. Anyone!"
After you saved him, he will thank you but however another Cliff Strider swoops in and kills him:
- Indoril Hireling: "You saved my life! Next time, I'll keep an eye out for cliff striders."
Online: Ayleid Spirit (Unearthing the Past)[edit]
King Renwic will be in the Ancient Inner Sanctum trying to conjure the army of the undead. During his confrontation with War Chief Yzzgol, he will be flanked by two Ayleid Spirits. They will disappear once Yzzgol kills Renwic.
Online: Guard Captain (Vaermina's Gambit)[edit]
While in Emeric's Dream, you will encounter one of High King Emeric's nightmares in the form of a female Breton Guard Captain reporting bad news to him by the bridge.
- High King Emeric: "Tell me quickly and truthfully. How do we fare?"
- Guard Captain: "Orc troops have broken through the gates, Your Majesty. They're heading toward the castle."
- High King Emeric: "Tell me quickly and truthfully. How do we fare?"
- Guard Captain: "The Supernal Dreamers are sacrificing people in the streets. Your Majesty … what should we do?"
- High King Emeric: "Tell me quickly and truthfully. How do we fare?"
- Guard Captain: "They're calling for you to surrender, Your Majesty...."
When you are in Quagmire, you have a chance of seeing the nightmare of the captain reporting the bad news of Supernal Dreamers sacrificing citizens:
- High King Emeric: "Tell me quickly and truthfully. How do we fare?"
- Guard Captain: "The Supernal Dreamers are sacrificing people in the streets. Your Majesty … what should we do?"
Whispering Gloom Siren (Shrike)[edit]
There will be a Shrike that will appear in Clamorclap Bowl. She will be part of the second wave of enemies that you will have to fight.
Template:Creature Link[edit]
Could someone with more knowledge of templates make a {{Creature Link}} template, akin to other link templates like {{Quest Link}} or {{Place Link}}, to replace the use of the Bullet Link template that's currently being used on Project Cyrodiil or Skyrim: Home of the Nord's creature pages? --Ohnoitsmangofett (talk) 20:35, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
- For what purpose? The primary use of Quest Link and Place Link over Bullet Link is to pull specific additional information (such as a description) from the summary box on the target page, but the {{Creature Summary}} template doesn't use a description field. What information would you want to see pulled automatically? --Enodoc (talk) 23:10, 7 January 2025 (UTC)
-
- It'd pull a desciption added with the {{Description}} template (such as how the 'Other Locations' listed on the PC and SHotN places pages get their descriptions), assuming a description field isn't also added to the Creature Summary template. The description itself would just be the first sentence or two of the lede. I'm just worried there might be a lack of parity between the desciption provided in a creature's bullet link and the lede of the creature's page if someone edits the creature's page, but forgets (or doesn't know) to also updated the description in the bullet link. --Ohnoitsmangofett (talk) 22:06, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Imperial Simulacrum[edit]
The Imperial Simulacrum is an event with far reaching impacts that eventually leads to the collapse of the Third Empire, yet currently it's just a redirect to a subsection of a chronology! --Agiletek (talk) 23:59, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- This page is for requesting new pages that you haven't been able to create yourself, not for requesting additional content on existing pages. If you believe there is enough content to create a full article for an existing redirect, go ahead and make those changes - you don't need to request it here. --Enodoc (talk) 13:10, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
