Shrine of Seryn's Devotion

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to any Temple Master, e.g. Nivis Serethran in the Hlan Oek temple.
  2. Interact with the Shrine of Seryn's Devotion while being affected by Poison.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

This represents one of the many pilgrimages that counts towards the three you must make prior to being initiated into the Tribunal Temple. It can be given by any Temple Master, although Nivis Serethran in Hlan Oek is closest. The shrine itself is located on a hill west of Hlan Oek Temple. You will need to be affected by poison which can be easily achieved by combining Noble Sedge Flowers and Black Roses growing next to shrine into custom potion using alchemy. Once you have activated the shrine the following text will pop up:

"Blessing of the Constant Heart: Taken with the old soldier's devotion, Compassionate Almalexia brought Saint Seryn to this hill. The Blessed Maiden drew the poison from the old man, and he lived in good health for many more years."

This completes the quest.

The blessing is Fortify Attribute Willpower 20pts, Fortify Attribute Endurance 20pts and Resist Poison 50%.

Notes[edit]

  • Accessing the shrine without poison effect will reveal a different message: "An old soldier from a poor family, gravely poisoned and not wanting to be a burden to his children, chose to accept death here without bitterness or recriminations, but in grateful prayer to Almsivi."
