Ilvys Hleeri at the Armun Pass Outpost

Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Gelvu Andas at the Ushu-Kur Mine about orders and Ilvys Hleeri.
2. Travel to the Armun Pass Outpost and confront Ilvys Hleeri.
3. Either:
   • Kill him.
   • Promise not to kill him to get the location of the iron ore, and then kill him.
   • Promise not to kill him to get the location of the iron ore, and then let him go.
4. (Optional) Travel to Shalmurat to look for the crates of iron ore.
   • Bypass Ulmethys Hlas by either:
     1. Killing him and taking the key from his body.
     2. Being a member of House Redoran.
     3. Claiming to work with Ilvys Hleeri.
     4. Act threatening while at level 15+.
     5. Act threatening (Sway check - see Notes)
     6. Pretend to be an agent of House Redoran with a message for the captain (Sway check).
   • Speak to Selmuth Balur and retrieve the crates of iron ore by:
     1. Being a member of House Redoran.
     2. Convincing him that the ore was acquired dishonorably (Sway check).
     3. Lying, and saying that the lord of Bodrum wants the ore (Sway check).
     4. Offering to buy the ore (Haggle check - see Notes).
     5. Killing him and taking the ore from his body.
5. Report back to Gelvu Andas and either:
   • Inform her that you have killed Ilvys Hleeri for 600 gold (+5 disposition, +5 Fighters Guild reputation).
   • (Lie) Inform her that you have killed Ilvys Hleeri for 600 gold (+5 disposition, +5 Fighters Guild reputation).
   • (Lie) Inform her that Ilvys Hleeri escaped (no reward, -5 disposition).
   • (If you let Ilvys go) Inform her that you let Ilvys go (-90 disposition, -5 Fighters Guild reputation)
6. (Optional) Return the 15x Iron Ore from Shalmurat to Gelvu Andas for 3x Topaz (+5 disposition).

Notes

• To reach the Armun Pass Outpost, return to Arvud and follow the road out of town leading south, turning left at the signposted junction to Hlan Oek, and right at the junction thereafter.
• A Sway check is a hidden check run when selecting the dialogue option it is attached to, and measures a combination of your Personality, Speechcraft and Luck, with additional modifiers applied based on your target's Disposition and your level of Fatigue. High values in all of these attributes increase your chances of successfully passing the check.
• A Haggle check is similar to a Sway check, but measures Mercantile rather than Speechcraft.

50		Ilvys Hleeri asked me to spare his life. He says he doesn't deserve to die over a few crates of iron ore.
75		Ilvys Hleeri is dead.
100	Finishes quest	I told Gelvu Andas that I had killed Ilvys Hleeri. She believed me.
125	Finishes quest	I told Gelvu Andas that Ilvys Hleeri had managed to escape. She believed me.
150	Finishes quest	I told Gelvu Andas that I let Ilvys Hleeri go. She was furious.
200	Finishes quest	I reported Ilvys Hleeri's death to Gelvu Andas.
For a Few Pieces of Iron (TR_m4_FG_UshuKur3B)
10		Pleading for his life, Ilvys Hleeri told me that he sold the crates of iron ore to House Redoran. He told me that they have an outpost in the Velothi tower of Shalmurat, northwest of Menaan, and that I could recover 15 pieces of stolen iron ore before returning to Gelvu Andas.
100		I gave Gelvu Andas 15 pieces of raw iron. She rewarded me with three topazes.
