Ethalvora, the Master Wizard of Andothren's Mages Guild.

Ethalvora is a High Elf Sorcerer and a Master Wizard in the Mages Guild. To those of Magician rank or higher, Ethalvora sells spells, and also offers a spellmaking service.

Her interests appear to revolve around studies of the Daedra, with one of her initial quests being obtaining the research and services of her old colleague Nelos Llothri, into Daedric architecture. She maintains strong opinions of her colleagues, and does not appear to have a good relationship with the Archmage of Almalexia, who she calls a "two-faced hag".

Yet her somewhat callous nature is revealed through the course of the questline, as she proves quite happy to work with the bandits of Kurhu, who sell her magical items taken presumably from murdered mages. She also thinks little of asking those of lower rank to act as moving targets for lightning spells, does not seem overly sorrowful in the event an apprentice, Samay, is murdered, and ultimately orders a hit on an individual that she suspects has been sent to replace her.

Ethalvora eventually overreaches during the events of Axiomatic Inversion, and may be summoned to Almalexia as a result, where she is presumably expelled from the Mages Guild.
