Asha-tara Undunbael

Asha-tara Undunbael is a Dark Elf Champion of the Obainat. She can be found in her yurt in Obainat Camp. It was Asha-tara who banded together the disparate Ashlanders that make up this newly formed group, yet they have of late grown discontented with her leadership, and in particular with her gentle approach to House Hlaalu. Asha-tara is very aware of this, and when the time comes to choose an Ashkhan in Obainat Nerevarine, she will demonstrate a complete lack of confidence:

"You would support, me? I -- I thank you, outlander, but I do not think this will work. As much as I wish to serve my tribe, the tribe is already dissatisfied with me, and yearns for a change in leadership. At this point, it is no longer about my methods or my opinions, but about me. My tribe doesn't trust me. Support someone else, %PCName. Padus is my choice, but even Massur-Dan will be better than me."

It is at least true that she has the interests of her new tribe at heart, giving up a precious relic of her former tribe, the Yeshorbat, to secure the Obainat an ancestor spirit:

"Take this gemstone, %PCName, and offer it as a gift to the spirit. It is an heirloom from my lost tribe, and I've kept it close to me ever since my tribe fell. But if this little stone can persuade the spirit to become our ancestor, I'll gladly part with it, knowing that it has been put to good use."

Depending on your choice in Obainat Nerevarine, Asha-tara will either be elected as Ashkhan, or sidelined by new and ascendant voices.
