- Rumors of hidden entrances in Skyrim's dungeons have made their way to everyone's ears, yours included. Difficult to open, will the treasures within make it worth the effort?
Dungeon Puzzles are unique Dungeon cards that are included in the Legendary Expansion and give you the chance to gain important rewards, provided you can succeed. These cards are added to their respective Dungeon decks in their respective orders. When a Dungeon Puzzle is encountered, it is solved differently depending on whether you care playing solo or with other players:
- Solo: The Enemy Die is rolled to determine the combination needed to succeed at the puzzle. You then roll as many dice as the combination contains - 3 or 4 - to attempt to match all of the icons. If your roll is unsuccessful, you may use as many Combat Pushes as your Character has to reroll a die, or turn in 2 Experience to set the face of a die. Once all symbols match the combination, you may access the rewards.
- Co-op: One of the players rolls as many dice as the combination contains, covering the result to hide it from the player attempting to solve the puzzle. This is the combination. The player solving the puzzle then takes the same amount of dice and manually sets their faces to what they believe the combination is. They can be told how many dice are correct, and then guess again once for every Combat Push they have.
Dungeon Puzzles do not count towards Dungeon completion, and are not mandatory. You can choose to skip it and reveal the next Dungeon card to continue your adventure.
