Arilen Maralvel

In Three Tender Souls, Tiiril is the family member, friend, or other loved one of the murdered Arilen Maralvel. Tiiril refers to Arilen with masculine pronouns, and the body as seen in the Stormhold Mortuary looks male. However, after the quest, Tiiril says:

"It appears I owe you an apology, as well as my gratitude. My behavior was uncalled for. It's just that my wife ... she was all I had. Thanks to you, they've released her body, and we can finally return to Mournhold."

I'm going to assume that Arilen is the collateral damage of a mid-development rewrite. Gethis Omobar, another character in the quest, lost his wife, Eroni. However, Gethis is unfailingly polite to the player, lives in Stormhold rather than Mournhold, and likely dies during the quest.

It's impossible to determine Arilen's connection to Tiiril. DavidJCobb (talk) 07:09, 7 March 2018 (UTC)
