marker_icon and marker_id code[edit]
There is some confusion about this part of the {{Online Place Summary}} template. Enodoc and I discussed it here and then WoahBro and I had another discussion here. Do we add marker_ code to the pages of those guildhalls (e.g. one, two or three) which are not marked on the in-game map or not? - Shuryard (talk) 04:06, 10 January 2015 (GMT)
- No, I don't think so. The markers are on the pages to document in-game appearance, not for cosmetics. —Legoless (talk) 14:03, 10 January 2015 (GMT)
Books in guildhalls[edit]
When I compare books I find in guildhalls' bookshelves with other players in game, titles always match. We also tried it with Alarra and they mostly matched, but not entirely. Now I came back to the same guildhall after two weeks (real time) and some of them are different, but some are still the same I listed. So, I assume only those books that "glow yellow" stay "fixed", but there is no certainty with others. I think it is best to take the exact titles of "not-glowing" books off the guildhall pages and simply point out bookshelves, saying that there can be skill books in those. Another "glowy" books, lore books - I know that their locations are fixed, but not sure about the titles... So, we just mention a lore book presence in the guildhall, but with no title. Any suggestions or comments? - Shuryard (talk) 19:41, 20 January 2015 (GMT)
- I would agree that bookshelves are random. I think yellow-glowing books are likely to be fixed, because I think they are usually relevant to the location they are found in. I'm not sure about the blue-glowing lorebooks; they may always be the same book, or they may just be randomly selected books from the same collection. --Enodoc (talk) 09:14, 21 January 2015 (GMT)
Star-Gazers[edit]
Not sure we need to list the Star-Gazers here. It's not a major faction, and the Observatory is already correctly listed under the 'Fighters Guild and Mages Guild' section. —Legoless (talk) 13:04, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
