Zix

Zix is a winged twilight found at Bonesnap Ruins, with her full title being Zix the Deceiver. Some time before, she was imprisoned within the ruins until she was inadvertently freed by the Goblins. Despite her small size, she is quite capable in killing and ensorcelling people.

• Repairing the Cage: Restore the Ayleid bindings to contain a dangerous Daedra.

Quest-Related Events

Lost Lions

She can be encountered periodically throughout the ruins. She will appear when you fail to convince the Lion Guard members to leave.

When you find Renard and ask him to leave:

Zix: "Zix will have you, too!"

When you find Elise and fail to convince her to leave:

Zix: "Away with you, mortal! This soul belongs to Zix!"

When you find Laroche and fail to convince him to leave:

Zix: "Stop! This one belongs to Zix!"

Repairing the Cage

She has further threats once she's been successfully captured in the Welkynd stone.

Zix the Deceiver: "What in Oblivion? What is this? Release me, at once! Release me, or I'll tear this plane apart!"

Veteran Mage Gaston: "Ignore it. Just empty threats. It knows it's trapped."

Zix the Deceiver: "You insufferable mortals! I'll shroud you all in unending dream, make you face your worst nightmares! You'll die clawing your eyes out, I swear it!

Veteran Mage Gaston: "It's losing the fight. The stone just needs to hold a little longer."

Zix the Deceiver: "I have plenty of time to wait, mortal. Eventually you'll slip, and your prison will fail. Then I will cover you in nightmares."

Notes

• Interestingly enough if you completed Repairing the Cage before Lost Lions, somehow Zix will escape her prison to attack you when you fail to convince the missing Lion Guard members to regroup.
