An artifact of the incredible Stone-Nest Argonian culture. These simple totems were once wayfinders to sacred structures across Solstice. They have been moved so many times that it's impossible tell what they were originally pointing to. |

I've seen smaller versions of these totems in Black Marsh, dating back to pre-Duskfall times. Precisely dating them could indicate when the Stone-Nest people first arrived on Solstice. | It is without a doubt this was not made unaided. Instead, I have a theory that even earlier waves of settlers on Solstice, aided by supernatural forces, crafted such large blocks and moved them into position through levitation spells. | Stone carvings in such patterns are common among the Argonians, and there is no question of local variance and creativity. They're often used as markers for sacred sites, or waystones to guide travel. One might assume this was used in a similar fashion, but who can say? |
