Matron Urgala is a Reachman matriarch. She is the leader of the Icereach Coven's forces in Deepwood Vale, and evidently had plans for you before you escaped imprisonment within the vale.

Matron Urgala and her witch pike

Her first appearance is within , where she can be seen up on the ice bridge speaking with Rada al-Saran.

Matron Urgala: "As you'll see, the storm's effects will be quite devastating."

Rada al-Saran: "As long as everything's ready for the first harvest, Urgala, I will be pleased."

You will find her and Saran high further in the ruins, discussing a strange ritual.

Rada al-Saran: "The harrowstorm ritual is a thing of beauty, Urgala. I'll be in touch after the harvest."

The vampire disappears in a swarm of bats, and Urgala is left to tend the swirling red storm raging above the ruins. You will need to fight her after this conversation is over. As her health lowers, she taunts you.

Matron Urgala: "You escaped? No matter, for soon all of Skyrim will fall!"

Matron Urgala: "Your efforts mean nothing! The harvest will succeed!"
