Mathal (Khajiit)

Mathal is Kalari's mischievous brother. He and his uncle Enak-do ran skooma for Rakhad.

After he and his sister inherited their uncle Enak-do's house, he began to receive letters from Rakhad threatening his sister unless Mathal sold the house to him and paid off his father's debts. Mathal began to spend more time at Rakhad's house, where his sister who did not know of the debt or the threats thought he was being lazy at the well. However, Mathal was actually casting an illusion ritual to make "ghosts" appear in the house in an attempt to frighten off his sister.

Tragically, the ritual ended up killing him, as you will find his body in Rakhad's house still powering the illusion crystals and a book about the ritual explaining that the longer the ritual, the greater strain on the caster.
