Maecald is a Breton vampire found around the black pool the Blood Matron's Crypt. He is a "child" of Lamae Bal and member of her coven, and will be involved in the blood transfusion that turns you into a vampire during the quest. When spoken to, he will respond with generic greetings, or rarely race-related ambient dialogue.
