Ilthag Ironblood

Ilthag Ironblood is a member of the Iron Orcs found inside his base, with his two armored welwas, Rahk and Vosh. In accordance to the agreement with the Scaled Court, he is overseeing the training of the war beasts, specifically trolls.

He is one of the bosses in Ilthag's Undertower that you need to defeat in order to clear the delve. He uses a mix of ravager and thundermaul class abilities, and he also summons weak giant bats to assist in combat.

Skills and Abilities

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.

Uppercut

A melee attack that deals moderate physical damage and knocks you back if it connects. This attack can be blocked to stagger Ilthag Ironblood.

Lightning Form

Ilthag Ironblood casts Lightning Form on himself, reducing his damage taken while creating small areas under the target which after a small delay deal shock damage.

Shock Aura

Ilthag Ironblood shocks the ground around himself as indicated by a red circle. This attack does moderate shock damage and can be interrupted to stagger Ilthag Ironblood.

If you kill Vosh and Rahk first, he unlocks an ability he performs up to 4 times.

Summon Giant Bat

Ilthag Ironblood summons one of the four weak giant bats clutched by the roof of the room to fight for him.

When you encounter Ilthag:

Little Leaf: "These Iron Orcs are no fun at all! I had such high hopes for the diplomatic method.
Ilthag Ironblood! Will you please stop training those nasty trolls?"

Ilthag Ironblood: "Not this again, whelp! Away with you!"

Little Leaf: "Oh, well. I tried. The better plan it is."

Little Leaf: "Do you like the lute? I play. A little. Cassi says I'm good, but I think she's just being nice."

You need to defeat Ilthag to progress the quest.

Bugs

• If you let him summon all four Giant Bats that are on the roof of the room and kill them, he is then stuck repeating the summon animation. After about 20 seconds stuck in this loop, he activates his leashing mechanic even if he is still in his room. ^?
