Horse Racing was planned as a minigame dating back to launch. Along with Spellcrafting, it was mentioned as upcoming in The Road Ahead and QuakeCon 2014, but is now presumed to be scrapped as it has not been mentioned in over a decade. You would have joined a faction known as the Black Horse Couriers to ride through a racecourse in every zone.

Characters

• Ahmat, a Redguard charged with setting you up for the races
• Talaya, a Khajiit responsible for setting up the racecourses
• Thrauar, a Nord participant in Talaya's races

• Horse Race: Partake in horse racing events throughout Tamriel.

• Black Horse Courier Handbill — Instructions for participants in races held by the Black Horse Couriers

Items

• Reins of the Midnight Destrier—An item received by mail for completing enough races for the Black Horse Couriers. Its description reads as follows: Use to acquire the Midnight Destrier, the legendary mount of the Black Horse Couriers.

System Mail

After completing enough races for the Black Horse Couriers, you would receive an in-game mail containing the Reins of the Midnight Destrier.
