Haj Mota are large shelled creatures predominantly found in both arid and lush regions of Tamriel.
Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Bite
- A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage then poison damage over 2 seconds.
- Horn Strike
- A melee attack that does moderate physical damage and staggers the player.
- Toxic Mucus
- The enemy spits a glob of poison at the player doing moderate poison damage and snare. Getting hit by the glob will spawn a Toxic Pool under the player's feet.
- Toxic Pool
- A pool of poison appears under the player's feet as indicated by a red circle. The pool does moderate poison damage over time.
- Bog Burst
- The enemy burrows underground and charges at the player, doing moderate physical damage and knocking the player down as indicated by a red circle.
- Shockwave
- The enemy releases shockwaves in the direction it is facing that travel along the ground, doing moderate physical damage and staggering all players hit as indicated by red circles.

- Bogshell, a haj mota found in the northwestern ruined section of Dead-Water Village during the quest Death Among the Dead-Water
- Bow Breaker, the second boss in Dreadsail Reef
- Giant Haj Mota, a haj mota summoned by the Ascendant Champion on Sword's Rest Isle
- Haj Mota Gatekeeper, a mini-boss in Hunter's Grotto
- Krona Keeba, the delve boss of Shark's Teeth Grotto
- Mighty Chudan, the first boss in the Ruins of Mazzatun
- Phantom of Mighty Chudan, the amber spirit of Mighty Chudan, summoned by Tree-Minder Na-Kesh
