When you arrive at Loriasel, Haj-Meht is hunching over a Dominion soldier's corpse. When you approach him:

"It cannot be true. Can it?"

He will ask you to find Keeper Uxith-Ei to help protect the Hatching Pools:

"Sithis smiles upon Loriasel. Even so, it would appear he has business elsewhere.
I overheard Dominion soldiers. They said they captured the Hatching Pools. A dark day, indeed."

The Hatching Pools?

"A sacred place, where Argonians are hatched by the will of the Hist. The rites performed there make us who we are. If the Dominion has captured it, then countless Argonian hatchlings are in jeopardy."
