Boatswain Islinne and Captain Tsuzo

We found a map at Castle Navire that shows several possible meeting sites used by the Ascendant Order. Lady Arabelle believes investigating these sites is our best chance to track down the missing alliance leaders.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Lady Arabelle Davaux at Mandrake Manor in Gonfalon Bay.
2. Investigate the Shipwreck Site and gather clues about the attack.
3. Travel to Jhim River Cavern to search for more evidence.
4. Fight off Ascendant Order agents inside the cavern.
5. Recover Documents revealing their plans.
6. Return to Lady Arabelle with the findings.
7. Speak with Lord Bacaro Volorus to report and plan next steps.

Detailed Walkthrough

Talk to Lady Arabelle Davaux at Mandrake Manor in Gonfalon Bay. After reviewing Duchess Elea’s notes, she marks three potential Ascendant Order locations on a map: near Tor Draioch, at the Dufort Shipyards, and at Stonelore Grove. You are tasked with investigating all three.

Travel first to Tor Draioch, where Captain Kaleen is waiting. She leads you to Tarnished Grotto, a coastal cave suspected of being an Ascendant Order hideout. Inside, fight through groups of Ascendant Order enemies. You’ll find a ledger and other materials proving the site was used for smuggling supplies to the Order. Speak with Kaleen after clearing the cave.

Next, go to the Dufort Shipyards and speak with Jakarn. He’s been gathering intel and directs you to Dockmaster Arnauld. When confronted, Arnauld attempts to flee and must be stopped. He confesses to knowingly providing supplies to masked knights but claims he had no choice. You can choose to let him go or see him punished. Report your findings to Jakarn.

Head next to Stonelore Grove, where you meet Magister Valessea. She suspects the Order is hiding among the local druid circles. She needs help performing a tracking ritual and asks you to gather Bloomingsong Flowers and capture an Azure Torchbug. These can be found nearby in the grove. Once gathered, Valessea performs the ritual, revealing a magical trail. Follow the glowing trail through the woods until you reach an abandoned campsite containing a coded journal. Show the journal to Valessea, who begins deciphering it.

Return to Lady Arabelle at Mandrake Manor and provide a full report of all three sites. She concludes that the Order’s plan involves a shipwreck and sends you to Shipwreck Shoals to meet with Captain Tsuzo, who has found something important.

At Shipwreck Shoals, locate Captain Tsuzo examining wreckage. He directs you to the remains of a ship called the Kamal’s Bane. Search the area, where you are attacked by Ascendant Order agents trying to silence survivors. Deeper in the wreckage, you find Boatswain Islinne alive. She confirms that the ship was carrying Prince Irnskar when it was attacked, and he saved her during the chaos but was lost overboard.

After rescuing Islinne and defeating the remaining Ascendant Order operatives, return to Mandrake Manor. Lady Arabelle is relieved to learn that Prince Irnskar may still be alive but is alarmed by the implication that he’s stranded on Amenos. She begins planning a rescue, and the quest concludes, setting up the next main story quest: Escape from Amenos.

3. Boatswain Islinne may not appear after clearing the shipwreck area.
4. The tracking ritual with Magister Valessea may not trigger the magical trail.
5. Combat stages can reset or fail if zoning out during fights.
