When you are asked to search Cipher's Midden to see what is causing the commotion, you will hear Cipher Vandalen comment and crying:

Cipher Vandalen: "The creatures that serve our master, they attack for no reason!"

He will also be there to witness Cipher Telengwe falling ill.

Speaking with him:

"Why do the Great Eye's Daedric servants attack us? Have we done something to displease Hermaeus Mora?"

Dialogue

Dialogue prior to An Unhealthy Fate:

"Welcome to Cipher's Midden, traveler. Enjoy the hospitality of our settlement and feel free to peruse the many tomes in our collection."

After completing An Unhealthy Fate:

"What a great day in the Midden, traveler! The One Who Knows communes with us again and Apocrypha returns to normal. This was your doing, yes?"
