She cannot be spoken to, but when you pass by the stables for the first time, you'll see a dog run off and Aleri scream:

Aleri Merys: "Ow! Stupid dog!"

Undena Andarys: "What happened? Let me see!"

Aleri Merys: "I just tried to pet it! Damn dog bit me."

Undena Andarys: "Leave it alone! There's something strange about that dog."

The two ladies will have moved on after you leave the area.
