Wearing the Veil[edit]

She is the last instructor you have to visit before entering the Veiled Keep, however she will be initially dismissive of you.

"You guessed the old man's riddles and ran a little race. Good for you. Ready for a real challenge?"
How do I prove my strength?
"You fight. Every officer under the Veil needs to know how to fight. Behind me is the combat ring. You'll go up against other officer candidates."
I'll be fighting other recruits?
"I don't want to hear moaning. We've a long road to walk before we remove that heretic Ayrenn.
The Veiled Queen deserves only the best. So we only take the best."
I'm ready.
"We'll see. Head up the stairs, join the melee. If you survive, you're in.
Prepare yourself."

If you try talking to her again, she will just say:

"Don't waste my time."

After defeating the other recruits, she'll be somewhat impressed.

"Good work. You're tougher than you look."
Thanks. I think.
"I get to welcome you beneath the Veil. Do your damnedest to make the Veiled Queen proud."

Receive your gold reward once you complete the quest.

The Veil Falls[edit]

Alandare will have another task for the Veil's newest officer—presenting yourself to the Council.

"You're a full member now. And you're in luck. The Veiled Queen herself will be speaking to the cause."
Where should I go?
"The Veiled Council meets in the grand hall. It's north of here, near the top of the island."
And you said the Veiled Queen is here?
"No, she's not here. She needs to stay safe, hidden. Uses a spell to speak with us by projection.
Go report in with the council. Present yourself and be known."
Looking forward to it.

Speaking to her again:

"Get gone. Don't want to keep the council waiting."
