Abel Metrick is a Breton and one of the few survivors of the vampire attack on Sutch. He can be found hiding with his mother in the Sutch Depository bank vault.

Quest-Related

After finding the clues Tham left at his tavern, you head to the Sutch Depository, though Maerenah is sceptical that there are still survivors. However, you find two of them hiding in the bank vault:

Abel Metrick: "Father? Is that you?"

Rosalyn Metrick: "Hush, Abel! You'll give us away!"

Maerenah: "I'll be damned, there are survivors! Use the key and open the vault."

If you talk to Abel before Rosalyn Metrick:

"We'll fight you if we have to. No damn vampires are going to make a meal out of me or my mother!"

Speaking with Rosalyn, she will explain her husband Grivier is leading survivors to safety in batches. He last left with Tham and has not returned, and Rosalyn asks you to find him. Talking to Abel afterwards:

"I'd go with you to find my father, but he specifically told me to stay with my mother. Protect her, you understand? Good luck out there."
