Contradictory Statements

Looking at the factions page we can see Mercator Hosidus listed in the Necromancers Cult faction, however in his npc sumary on the main article he is not listed in the factio, it seems more likely that he actually is in this faction but i do not want to add it and then find out both articvles are wrong, could someone verify this? --Volanaro 14:30, 18 August 2008 (EDT)

Ulterior Motives

Mercator refues to accept the passage of time. During Ulterior Motives he says to wait a day and the talk to him. I have waited more than week, outside of the castle too, and he still says a day hasnt passed.

It seems you have run into the first bug mentioned on the quest page. If waiting outside doesn't work either, try doing other quest first. Otherwise, it looks like you have to reload an earlier save. ^Talk Wolok gro-Barok _{Contributions} 22:32, 4 April 2010 (UTC)

14 necromacers robes

when i killed him he was carrying 14 necromancers robes i know he is a necromance but why was he carrying so many?.--(Theblack7 17:08, 26 July 2010 (UTC))

It looks to me like there's a bit of a scripting bug. Mercator gets given a necromancer robe if you've got to the point where he and his buddies are waiting for you but you then don't show up, and it never gets taken away. If you wait for 2 weeks before turning up, he'll have 14 robes. rpeh •T•C•E• 18:56, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that's the point. He only gets the robe if you leave him there for at least one night. You can see him wearing a robe in this picture. rpeh •T•C•E• 19:27, 26 July 2010 (UTC)

I have just waited one week and he has no robes still. Also, although the article says his keys get removed, sometimes I find them on his corpse. I think the keys are removed when at the meeting, then reinstated if you fail to show up. --Manic 18:55, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

Necro Robes

I've seen him with 15 robes (and one hood) on at least two occasions now. Occurs if you arrive early to the meeting, on xbox. Unsure if just these circumstances. Timeoin (talk) 09:45, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
