Bad Luck[edit]
Wow this sucks. I just made it to the boss chest to find 1 gold and a crappy scroll. At level 45! Is it unusual for a boss chest to sometimes be completely worthless, or just bad luck?--Imperial Scum 19:57, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
- As stated at Oblivion:Dungeons#Boss Chests:
- However, even boss chests have random contents, so it is impossible to predict which ones will yield that ultimate item; occasionally you will open one and only find 5 gold pieces and some mundane equipment. The chance of finding good equipment is not influenced by high values of Luck.

Darkest Darkness[edit]
May I point out there are multiple normal books located in the first zone at location H marked on the map. I noticed two of the books (Mysticism & The Argonian Account, Book 4) mentioned and don't think they deserve any special mention even if they are the only two to always be there when they can be purchased or found in numerous other locations. Plus, I just looked all around the spot H, I cannot find a copy of Mysticism at all. I only mention this as I am book hunting all the skill books to finish my library. I edited myself as I made a comment which was unworthy as I got further into the zone. DarkElfsk 08:39, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually Mysticism is a very rare book - there are only 14 guaranteed locations in the entire game. The Argonian Account book 4 is less rare (without being common), but it counts as a valuable book (its id is Book3ValuableArgonianAccountBook4). Darkest Darkness (Book2CommonDarkestDarkness) is a common book. That's why the first two get a mention and the others don't. –rpeh•T•C•E• 07:32, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
