Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Synnolian Tunifus at the Imperial Chapels in Ebonheart for a new task.
2. Travel to Shulk Egg Mine to harvest five pieces of Scrib Jelly.
3. (Optional) Talk to Dinok outside for a couple of units of jelly.
4. Kill a number of scribs to get the five units of jelly.
5. Return to Synnolian to complete the quest.

Detailed Walkthrough

Task

Synnolian Tunifus at the Imperial Chapels in Ebonheart will ask you to run another errand to fetch five pieces of Scrib Jelly, harvested from the bodies of dead scribs. He also provides directions to an egg mine with some scribs and teaches you the Detect Creature spell to help you hunt the animals.

Gathering Scrib Jelly

The Shulk Egg Mine named by Tunifus is just southwest of Balmora. You may need to kill a number of scribs to get the five units of jelly, and you can talk to one of the miners outside, Dinok, for another couple of units if you need them (if his disposition is high enough). Of course, you can also acquire scrib jelly by other means; scribs are fairly common in other locations and you can purchase their jelly from many vendors.

Return to Tunifus with the scrib jelly to receive a Potion of Cure Poison, a Potion of Cure Blight Disease, and an apprentice's alembic.

Notes

• If you fail to collect enough scrib jelly, Tunifus' disposition towards you drops by ten.

Bugs

• Each time you ask Dinok about Scrib Jelly he will give you another portion even as he tells you that "I gave you all I have."
