Skaal Means Bard?

Does anyone know good norse language here because apparently Skaal is another word for bard. I'd verify that but I'm not really good a viking language. --ModderElGrande^{Talk Contribs} 15:35, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

"A skål is a Scandinavian toast of friendship and goodwill which may be offered when drinking, sitting down to eat, or at a formal event. You may also see skål spelled as skal or skaal."
