Comparison to Saturnalia[edit]
I just came across a reference the real-life holiday of Saturnalia, which is an ancient precursor to Christmas that ran from the 17th of December through to the 25th of December on the Julian calendar and involved partying and gift-giving, among other things. Given the name and the timing, it seems highly likely that the real-life holiday was the inspiration for the in-game holiday, but I'm not sure how best (or even whether) to mention that information on a Lore page. – Robin Hood (talk) 19:39, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- Probably belongs in ESO's Easter Eggs page.Zebendal (talk) 23:45, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
- It could also be added to the lore page as a note, since it meets the criteria here about behind-the-scenes real-world information. --Oriwa Talk 00:01, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
- Agree to adding it as a note. Imperialbattlespire (talk) 00:13, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
