History[edit]

The exact date of the founding of Port Dufort is unclear. At one point in history, this remote outpost was ruled by Duchess Calette Brousseau Levys Gignac Dufort the First. A jovial retired adventurer, she was much beloved by the people of her small enclave. The Duchess personally initiated the tradition of a spectacular combat festival, which continued throughout the years of the Second Era's Interregnum.[1][2]

As of 2E 582, the Circle of Champions used the streets of Port Dufort to host dangerous gladiator battles. Fighters from all three sides of the Alliance War came to the Port Dufort battleground to fight for the glory of the Fire Drakes, Pit Daemons, and Storm Lords arena teams.[2]

The Systres was considered part of Hammerfell's territory by 3E 427.[3] It is unknown how those events affected the Port Dufort.
