Indaenir was a Bosmer who served as the Silvenar the mid-Second Era. As the Silvenar he was "The Voice of the People", the embodiment of the will of the Bosmer. He also represented the spiritual side of the Bosmer, while his counterpart and wife Gwaering represented the physicality of the Bosmer as the Green Lady.[1][2]
The previous Silvenar, Edhelorn, was found murdered within his quarters in Mistral by Ulondil using a daedric poison, leaving the position vacant. When Indaenir sacrificed himself to save the Heart of Valenwood, the Green brought him back by Y'ffre's will, seeing his "making and unmaking", and described the experience as "incredible, indescribable, transformed". Those who had witnessed this viewed it as an act of Y'ffre choosing him as the new Silvenar.[3]

Notes[edit]
- Despite being picked by Y'ffre himself, some denounced him as a Dominion puppet, who asserted that the Dominion had "corrupted" sacred Bosmeri rituals.[4]
