Daedric subcategory

I think it would be a good idea to create a subcategory for specifically Daedric Artifacts. They're a particularly notable group of artifacts, and there is currently no way to view them grouped together distinct from other types. -- Hargrimm^(T) 20:57, 14 November 2013 (GMT)

Would these just be the artifacts involved in Daedric quests? Or all artifacts linked to Daedra? For instance, Goldbrand was created by dragons, but it is part of Boethia's Daedric quest. Would that be included? Jeancey (talk) 21:22, 14 November 2013 (GMT)

I would include Goldbrand. The category would include any artifact that was either created or imbued with particular power/significance by a Daedric Prince. For example, the Fork of Horripilation would be included, since although it was created by some anonymous smith, it was elevated into something more by Sheogorath. -- Hargrimm^(T) 21:38, 14 November 2013 (GMT)

I don't really see a need for this, and I would always disagree with any subjective categorization. If this was made then an Aedric subcategory should be considered, as well as subcategories for each "type" of artifact, which would lead to multiple categories on each page as the history of the artifacts are often obscure and varied. It just seems weird to me that there's no way to collectively view all these artifacts that are uniquely focused upon in all the games. I tried making navboxes, but there's so many that it's hard to lay out effectively without looking cluttered. -- Hargrimm^(T) 18:33, 2 December 2013 (GMT)

In the case of a category, it wouldn't matter since it wouldn't be subdivided by each Daedra. For a navbox-type thing, I would most likely include it under Meridia, since in both of her cases, she gives you the ring directly, while in Morrowind, you are given the ring by a Morag Tong member instead of Mephala herself, so maybe he was just confused himself. -- Hargrimm^(T) 19:37, 2 December 2013 (GMT)
