The Retired Pirate

The Retired Pirate is a tavern located at the north end of Anvil, beside the wall.

It can be identified by the sign outside, along with the anchor chain along the fencing.

The publican, Sir Andrew Barton, has 400 gold, a Mercantile skill of 30, and buys and sells potions and miscellaneous items.

The common room has a pair of trestle tables with benches; a fireplace burns in one corner, and several racks of wine bottles sit near the door. A doorway leads to a storage area with stairs going up to the rooms for rent. The upper floor has three rooms for rent (the fourth is occupied by Andrew himself), all of which are simple affairs with a double bed, chest of drawers, and a table. Barton's quarters are located at the far end of the building, accessible via stairs from above or a door from the outside.
