Demetrius is a Nord monk who lives in Leyawiin.

He gets up at 6am every morning and eats breakfast, then spends most of the day working on his potion-making. He goes to Asta's house at 2pm to sit and read a book for the rest of the afternoon, then goes to Hjalmar's Beer House at 7pm to drink beer. He returns home at 2am and goes to bed.

He wears a forester's shirt, black wide pants, and thick cowhide shoes, and is armed with an iron war axe. He carries copies of Fundaments of Alchemy and The Firmament, a set of apprentice alchemical apparatus and random ingredients, scrolls of Fire Shield and Arctic Blow, three anise seeds, ten bottles of Nibenay Beer, some random food and drink, a moderate amount of gold, and a house key.

Demetrius' house is located south of the city. It is one large room, with a couple partial walls to divide off spaces. The main room has his bed in one corner and an alchemy workbench in another; a dining table and chairs sits opposite them. An alcove in the other corner has a cupboard, barrel, and set of shelves for food storage.
