A former vampire and gang member named Maerenah has returned to Sutch to put a stop to her former associate, and together the two of you will track him down in the depths of Sutch Mine.

When you find Balandrus, he will be surrounded by his vampiric allies, namely Shulluz, Entienne Spenard, and Cybella Spenard. Tham the barkeep will be in his grasp, having been forcibly infected with vampirism by Balandrus. He will drop Tham to the ground as you approach, and his allies will vanish in a cloud of bats. Balandrus will then attack.

Balandrus the Terror: "You're part of my army now, barkeep. Get used to it."

Maerenah: "He's got Tham! Let's finish the bastard!"

Balandrus the Terror: "Come back to join the slaughter, Maerenah?"
