Bravil is a city in the Nibenay Valley region in southern Cyrodiil, on Niben Bay south of the Imperial City along the Green Road. The Larsius River passes through and around the city, serving as its sewer. The city is frequently described as the poorest in the province, with a damp climate due to the nearby marshes and bay and a simple wooden architectural style.
The city is dominated by the Great Chapel of Mara. The Count of Bravil is Regulus Terentius, an arrogant noble whose son is known to frequent the local skooma den. The city features a beautiful garden outside the castle and an interesting statue, as described below.
For more information about Bravil, see the lore article.

Notes[edit]
- In the square east of the chapel is a statue called "The Lucky Old Lady", which is described in the book Daughter of the Niben. Activating the statue will cast the spell Old Lady's Luck on you, which fortifies luck by 10 points for 720 seconds. You can activate the statue as often as you like, although you can no longer receive the spell's blessing once you complete the Dark Brotherhood questline. The spell may be absorbed, replenishing your magicka rather than giving the blessing.
- Bravil also appears in ESO.
Bugs[edit]
- It is possible to climb over the city walls and out of the city. See here for details.
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, version 3.5.0, fixes this bug.
